Beerball Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 If anyone is interested, here's the link: linky 1) Which is a bigger obstacle for the Patriots to overcome? The loss of CB Ty Law, WR David Patten, OG Joe Andruzzi and LB Roman Phifer The loss of offensive coordinator Charlie Weis and defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel 2) Is young QB J.P. Losman the missing piece that will get the Bills to the playoffs this year? Yes, he's matured and has plenty of weapons No, he's not experienced enough Doesn't matter who the QB is, the defense will carry the load 3) How many games will the Dolphins (4-12 last season) win under first-year coach Nick Saban? 4-5 6-7 8-9 10 or more 4) If QB Chad Pennington is fully recovered from a shoulder injury are the Jets legitimate Super Bowl contenders? Yes No 5) Which AFC East team had the best offseason? Bills (Mike Gandy, Kelly Holcomb, Roscoe Parrish) Dolphins (Coach Nick Saban, Tebucky Jones, Ronnie Brown) Patriots (Chad Brown, Antuan Edwards, Chad Scott) Jets (Laveranues Coles, Doug Jolley, Mike Nugent) 6) Which team will win the AFC East? Bills Dolphins Patriots Jets
Puhonix Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 6) Which team will win the AFC East? 54.3% Patriots 18.4% Dolphins 14.0% Bills 13.3% Jets Wow, I love my fins.... but sometimes you have to be realistic.
drnykterstein Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Wow, I love my fins.... but sometimes you have to be realistic. 362237 ... uhmm.. dont love phins. but that is the wierdest result on the whole poll.
NCDAWG Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Fans pick dolfigs to come in second...come on. I am surprised that they aren't talking superbowl.
Puhonix Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Fans pick dolfigs to come in second...come on. I am surprised that they aren't talking superbowl. 362289 But why, I can be realistic and know they need to rebuild before anyone even mentions superbowl. If they think that the fins can win the division, then they should also have the best offseason, logically. ("They had a terrible offseason, but I think they can go from 4-12 and win the division over the defending champs") If you think that, you're a chump.
NCDAWG Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I was just saying how ignorant the fin fans truly are. I spent the better part of my life in south florida, and the are no finer bandwagon jumpers than the great people of south fla. The only things that fin fans know are "Dan Marino" and "undefeated". Compounding this, is the fact that I have seen NFL games in almost every stadium and the fans in others cities put the fin fans to SHAME.

See I'm not willing to classify the whole lot of us, or any group, into any column. Yeah, I'm sure a lot of Fins fans went ahead and voted for Miami anyway, but you can't tell me that Buffalo didnt have its fair share of fans that are voting them to the top regardless of how the team looks. Every city has some fans that will always vote them #1 regardless of anything else. I don't call it ignoreance, I call it blind faith.
30dive Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 What a bunch of crap.......Example (one of many): Question #4 - Why let's think about this. Yes maybe Chad Penington shoulder may be fully recovered, but gee whiz, I'm not sure if that make the Jets a Super Bowl contender. GOD FREEKIN IDIOTS who puts these surveys together, why I bother to read this kinda crap, mystifies me even more.......When does the season start...AARRRGGGGG!!!!!!

Bills Dolphins Patriots Jets 362222 1. Loss of coordinators will be huge for NE, especially the offensive coord. 2. JP's the man... I'll take a rookie or 2nd yr qb over statue bledsoe. 3. Less than 7, losing both to Buffalo. 4. No 5. Bills, little bias here. 6. NE or Buffalo. then Jets and Miami at the rear...

/dev/null Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 1) The loss of offensive coordinator Charlie Weis and defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel 2) No, he's not experienced enough Don't hate me because I'm beautiful (and realistic) 3) In honor of the McLaughlin thread...WRONG!!!! The Dolphins will win less than 4 games this year 4) No 5) Jets (Laveranues Coles, Doug Jolley, Mike Nugent) 6) Patriots
