Brianmoorman4jesus Posted August 28 Share Posted August 28 There wasn’t a single guy we cut that I was concerned about. The only 2 guys I even wanted to keep that left was Gore and Cain. I knew they were top 3 in that category, I'd heard that in a podcast but I thought it was with the 49ers and the Ravens... it turns out it is the 49ers and the Jets (anomaly, more to come). Since 2020 the teams who have had the most roster claims on guys waived at cutdown day are: 1. Buffalo Bills (10) 2. New York Jets (9) 3. San Francisco 49ers (8) =4. Kansas City Chiefs (6) =4. Now we have enough info to form opinions but not enough to form informed opinions. Reminds me of "wrong" Josh who some actually bet money on being picked and refused narrative that Bills actually picked right QB. Beane and Coach McD actually thought so well of him they brought the owners to meeting with him pre draft ((they did not do so for visits on other prospective QBs). Last year there were two claimed on waivers, both were the teams 7th round picks in the 2023 NFL draft. I am sure in the McD era there maybe have been 1-2 others but I think it happening last season to two players made fans more paranoid about it.
