James wrote via his social media account on Instagram and made his stance known. James said: “I GUARANTEE he’s at the top of the scouting report before playing Buffalo offensively! So who cares” I thought you were kidding, but then I just stumbled across the Tweet that shows Lebron's post about it 😄 Edit: You have to click the tweet to see the actual image of Lebron's reply at the bottom. JerseyBills Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Even ESPN nyc radio, Michael Kay show was bashing Allen being overrated, Kay said he thinks guys are clearly jealous, Josh has endorsements, dating an actress, cover of madden etc and made alot of guys look bad on the field, combined w the trash talk, he said jealousy. Compared it to Jeter not being a unanimous hofer cause 2 guys didn't vote him in. They tend to bash Buffalo, so was surprised to hear 2 Quote

That's 23 more than anyone else since 2020 and the most in a four-year span by any player in NFL history. He has 75 turnovers in that span, 14 more than anyone else. He is the modern day Brett Favre, really. Thus he is a net +99. How does that rank? Edited August 30 by GASabresIUFan Quote
In Summary Posted August 31 Posted August 31 This ESPN survey is the kind of modern NFL thing that makes people tune out ESPN and the social media drama. 1 Quote

Nelius Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Josh may put up 50 total tuds with an actress girlfriend and a new ridiculous haircut. Of course he’s hated. The man scored 15 effing rushing TDs last year and people only talk about it as if it’s a detriment to his passing game. He’s such a unicorn that the lower lames point and laugh if he falls short of a ring and records. He had 44 touchdowns last year (lol) and some basement Mountain Dew swillers on this very board still scratch their chin hairs and trip over themselves trying to quantify the next anti-Allen reach. If and when he wins one, he’ll be the most hated man in the game. 1 1 Quote

Josh Allen has the most tds in NFL history to this point He has the second most playoff tds in NFL playoff history for a QB in his first ten playoff games He is tied for the 4th most passing touchdowns in NFL history for a QB in his first 6 years He has the most tds over a 4 year span ( before and after the merger) in NFL history Allen is second in passing touchdowns since 19 and 20 ( 6 behind mahomes). If you took out all of Allens rushing production he has still tied Peyton Manning in passing touchdowns in his first 6 years starting, yet has about 30 less int over that same 6 years starting... He has the lowest int percentage in NFL playoff history He has the 3rd LEAST amount of turnovers in NFL playoff history for a QB in his first ten playoff games He has more playoff tds than Burrow Lamar Herbert and Lawrence combined.... If you took out Allens best playoff game and took out burrow and Lamars worst playoff game, Allen still has a higher passer rating, higher td %, higher passing touchdown %, higher qbr ... If you take away all of Allens wildcard stats He still has better overall playoff numbers than Lamar and burrow. Allen since 2020 in the regular season and postseason he has almost 100 more tds than Lamar... A frickin hundred...lol Allen overall record vs mahomes 3-4 ( since 2020} Allen record vs mahomes since 21 (3-2) Allen in those past 5 games vs mahomes 16 tds 1 turnover Mahomes 11 tds 5 turnovers Allen has a career playoff passer rating of 100... Allen at age 28 has already tied the great Jim Kelly in playoff passing touchdowns (21) Can someone explain wtf is going on??? How did the other Jet fans react to this? This is actually a better post on Allen’s statistical dominance than any I have ever seen on Bills forums. I believe it would take an outsider with an eye for stats to understand the nonsensical INT narratives when looked at in context. Allen has GOAT numbers already. When Allen wins a SB he will skyrocket into top 10 all time over night because casuals will begin to see these numbers in a different light. 1 1 1 Quote

To this point, if Mahomes didn't exist everyone would be looking at Allen as the up and coming GOAT. That is how good Allen's numbers are and how close he is to Mahomes in ability and raw numbers. Really, it's too bad the Allen and Mahomes are in the same conference otherwise at least two of the last four Super Bowls probably would have featured those two going head to head against each other. 1 2 Quote

The information ranges from a broad overview of how a team could fare this season to other more specific tidbits regarding particular players and roster construction. We have a lot of ground to cover, so let’s get right to it. … Buffalo Bills: Following the release of an anonymous poll of NFL players, there was some debate last week over whether quarterback Josh Allen may be overrated. That certainly isn’t a debate among the many league executives and coaches I’ve spoken with. He is still largely considered the second-best QB in the NFL behind only Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes.‘ Quote

I'll give myself a pat on the back too: On 8/27/2024 at 10:56 AM, HappyDays said: I could see it based on the style of offense we are likely to run this year. Probably very little deep passing relative to what we're used to. I expect a ball control offense with a lot more running and quick passes to the short and intermediate areas. Most of Allen's INTs last year came on deep shots or under/over combos that a DB was able to easily read and undercut... and I don't expect either of those to be staples of our offense this year. I don't recall any INTs that Allen threw in the direction of a TE or Shakir last year and that is likely going to be the bulk of our offensive targets. Say what you want about Brady, his system has drastically reduced the turnovers. We're the only team in the NFL this season that has zero fumbles by a skill position player (as per Joe Marino). Allen only has 5 INTs, a 1.4% INT rate which is the lowest of his career, and none of them were really awful decisions. 2 2 Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted December 5 Posted December 5 (edited) Imagine calling the guy with the most tds in NFL history in his first 6 yrs overrated.... A guy who has the second most tds in NFL playoff history for a QB in his first ten playoff games A guy who is second in the NFL since 19 and 20 in passing tds ( 6 behind mahomes since 20) A guy if you took away all his rushing production still tied Peyton frickin Manning in PASSING TDS in his first six years but has like 30 less int. A guy who has won 4 and now 5 straight division titles and has the second highest winning percentage since 2020, 3rd since 19 in the entire NFL. A guy with more PASSING TDS IN THE PLAYOFFS and in less playoff games than Phillip Rivers entire playoff career... A guy who has the most tds over any 4 year span in NFL history A guy who literally outplays and beats mahomes all the time lol Whoever said he's overrated is a 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 Edited December 5 by Kelly to Allen 1 1 1 Quote
