GASabresIUFan Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) The reaction here to cutting 3 lousy receivers in Shavers, Shorter, and Hamler is pretty funny. The receiving group is fine. Samuel is an experienced solid slot receiver. Coleman is a talented rookie. Hollins is a proven depth receiver. The keys to the group are Kincaid and Shakir. If they take the next step forward, which I think they will, the Bills could easily have a pair of 1000 yard receivers this season. Don’t forget Knox and Cook add to the talented receiver group. appoo Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Just now, Coach Tuesday said: lol wut it's my darkest fear lol. I'm not saying that WILL happen, but perhaps the most likely reason if the season goes arwy. Beane made a very risky bet of staying in house/draft with the safeties, and not getting a top end CB. Losing Milano is just unfair Quote

Exactly. I also think people are downplaying the roles Kincaid and Knox will have this season. 1 Quote

The reason he struggled some this preseason is because this was the first time in his life he struggled to win off the LOS against guys as strong AND quick as he was. There's a lot of technique he'll need get into his muscle memory. If you struggle off the LOS, you're not going to get any kind of seperation down field as the CB immediatly has that advantage. These are hard won muscle memory issues that may not payoff until after Halloween. Quote

Low Positive Posted August 27 Posted August 27 So Dion Cain, who the BIlls signed exactly two weeks ago as a camp replacement, has actually made the team. Fantastic. 3 1 1 Quote
