bartshan-83 Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 just to clarify, i hated kobe long before the rape stuff even happend, and that just gave me more of a reason to hate him... 362571 I'm with ya there man...
BRH Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 If your basis for hating Kobe Bryant is simply that he cheated on his wife, I wonder how you can stomach watching professional sports at all. 362570 Bart, I agree with all your points. Just to clarify though, I don't think John "hates" Kobe at all.
bartshan-83 Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Bart, I agree with all your points. Just to clarify though, I don't think John "hates" Kobe at all. 362576 Oh I know man. He loves him. I realize I worded that kind of awkwardly, it was more of a general "you" not him. Thanks though.....i'm gonna fix it
John from Riverside Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 not signing autographs < rapetherefore Horry > Therapist # 8 362543 Just for the record.... It has NEVER been proven that Kobe raped the mentally unstable cocaine addict in Colorado....as far as I am concerned when she refused to take the stand and face him then it proved he DIDN'T do it....because the law is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GIULTY........so the above does not hold water But I can tell you that Robert Horry's attitude away from the court flat out sucks....because I have seen that firsthand..... and no....if BOTH were true then one would not equal the other.....
NYGPopgun10 Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Kobe is easy to hate because he's a phony selfish piece of garbage.
The Plastic Cup Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 ....and while other "scumbags" will at least take the time to stop and sign a autograph for the kids.... ......and if the kid happens to be a 19 yo chick, he'll even be nice enough to bend her over a chair while he's signing it.........what a guy!!!
Pete Posted June 20, 2005 Author Posted June 20, 2005 the Sports Guy on Horry- http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/050620
BF_in_Indiana Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 no...not really...my heart is still beating just fine...BF you have succeeded in further solidifying yourself as a buffoon. 362347 Tough break NG. Your scum fans are getting what they deserve. Heartbreak on the biggest stage.
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 lets not get to melodramatic here. horry is great, but come on. vinateri is most likely the most "clutch" player in pro sport or michael jordan or maybe pele or joe montana or wayne gretzky or roger clemens or ken dryden.
NYGPopgun10 Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Great article Pete. Simmons is the best writer on that site. Always makes good points. Loved this one: In a league loaded with guys who believe they're better than they actually are, Horry understands his own strengths and limitations better than anyone. That's what makes him so great. And that's why I like the poker analogy for him. He's the guy sitting at the table with a towering stack of chips, the guy who never chases a bad hand, the guy who makes your heart pound when he's staring you down. You never remember the hands he lost, but you always remember the ones he won. And when he finally cashes out and gets up from the table, you hope you never have to see him again.
