If you look at what Beane has done at the backup QB position, he has gone insanely cheap the last few years. When Mitch was here last time we only paid him $2 million for one season. This year we got him for around $1 million each of the next 2 years. Keenum was cheap. This year we bring in Dinnucci and Brown I think his name is. We could have had someone like Tannehill but he will probably cost about $6 or $7 million a season. Mike White I can see wanting around $4 or $5 million to be a backup. However with other cuts coming up there might be even better options at QB2 if we are looking just at the player, and not the insider info.
