I know that my Hoosiers are not as good as their record indicates. And I know that people will call out scoring 66 points as bad sportsmanship. But this game was as cathartic as that perfect game against the Pats for us long-suffering Hoosiers' fans.

It's college football and they don't have 12 draft picks

It's all fair game... They aren't on a uneven field

I am a Purdue fan and have no problem with the Hoosiers laying 66 on my guys.

PU is that bad and the Hoosiers were really good this season, except for the OSU debacle

Ichigan is pure trash. I don't even care about the Ohio State anymore but that team since Harbaugh was there has become pure trash and belongs with the SEC-scum.

Yeah poor sportsmanship with the flag.

But it's not like other teams haven't done that before.

The flag would have never happened if Ryan Day could coach. What a pathetic loss for OSU.

It's like rushing the field. It happens too often and too much. Plant the flag when you are at your own place

And the team up north lost to app state. If app state did that then what would they say?

it's ultimately not something I have strong feelings about.

I just couldn't help but notice that seemed to be the most fight Ohio State showed all day yesterday after the game.

I think it's a by product of the product of the NIL and players protecting their interests/image for the NFL.

A lot of players don't engage in the gritty attitude and act soft. Id bet most of the players who acted out yesterday, especially the ichigan player carrying the flag late, don't have a future beyond a drive thru.

As a Michigan fan, I was thrilled by the win, but I found the flag thing unnecessary.

Both head coaches should have been in there to break-up the stupid fighting.

Ryan Day was still on the sideline no even blinking. It was like he glitched.

OSU needs to punt kick Gundy and hire an up and coming coach.

OU beating Bama should end all hopes of a playoff spot for them.

I wish. I love Gundy but I feel the game has passed him by.  He's not NIL ready and I don't think he ever will be ready. Too old-school.

Oklahoma State needs a coach like Deion. A jazzy/flashy coach who can bring in the $$$$.

T. Boone died 5 years too early. If he was still alive, Oklahoma State would be paying Michigan-type money for top players. Zero doubt he would buy a National Championship contending program.

I know it was weird but I think he was processing. He had previously said that losing to Michigan was worst thing that happened to him and his family outside of his father’s death. His dad committed suicide when he was young. So, who knows what was happening in his head at that moment.

It's amazing, but Texas and Oregon planted flags on Michigan's field earlier this season, and miraculously, no fights broke out.  I don't like it, but it's becoming a somewhat normal thing to do in today's college football.  OSU is full blown fake tough guy with Day.

And I agree that the player taking the flag through the OSU team after the fight was over is wrong.  At that point, both teams needed to just move on, not instigate another fight.  How do you feel about the 3-4 OSU players who attacked the Michigan sideline reporter (who just so happened to be former Michigan and Eagles receiver Jason Avant) picking up the flag after Sawyer threw it?

Texas/Michigan and Oregon/Michigan aren't bitter rivalries, so your first point makes absolutely no sense.

It shows that schools can plant flags and not lose their crap over it.  I don't agree with the flag planting, I think it's a dumb new fad, but it doesn't have to turn into a giant brawl over it.  To me it's like running up the score.  I don't agree with that either, but in same breath, if you don't like it, stop them.  If OSU didn't like it, win the game.

Sarkisian for Texas said: ""There is a way to win it with class," Sarkisian said. "I just didn't think it was the right thing to do... We shouldn't be planting any flags on their logo." This is this week, after allowing his team to do it earlier in the year.

Again, I think it's stupid when anyone plants a flag.  But it is also stupid to start a giant brawl over it as well.

Who started a giant brawl? The guy who planted the flag and those who went to defend him. Sawyer had the flag but the guy who planted it wanted to fight. Don't start something with people and then cry when they defend themselves I say...

Did you watch the post game at all?  Michigan planted the flag, and OSU's team ran back and started fighting at mid field.  The guy with the flag when Sawyer took it was AFTER the original fight.  And again, I don't agree with him doing that at all either.

Michigan was midfield with the flag, and when OSU saw it, they ran back and started pushing/fighting.  AFTER getting the fight settled, then I agree, the Michigan player instigated the 2nd fight by taking the flag back through the OSU players.
