I figured I can start the general topic for the season. FSU is in trouble with DJ U, he is underwhelming and not impressive. Not sure why teams keep paying him. ACC teams must have loved what they saw today.

It actually wasn't DJ that lost the game for FSU........Yes, he was mediocre and underwhelming, but their D was a sieve and didn't even attempt to stop anything.

GT just moved the ball at will, daring FSU to step up their game and stop them......they didn't.

I know that Georgia is great, but they are wiping the floor with Clemson. It is painful to watch. Interesting that Florida State and Clemson are said to be fighting to get out of the ACC and they both got off to such poor starts.

Are they really the top ACC teams? Maybe they should stay where they are.

Notre Dames defense was dominating. With their remaining schedule, would be a serious let down if they don't make the playoffs. Leonard is a question mark at QB (reminds me of Captain check down Trent Edwards but more mobile) but that defense with Morrison, Cross, Watts, etc will carry them some.

Allar with a new offensive coordinator at Penn State looked very good. Has some Josh Allen traits that came out better with the better scheming yesterday. Maybe Penn State can finally get over the hump.

Notre Dame should be disqualified from the playoffs with that schedule.

Most coddled Dl football program in the NCAA.

Let us know when they face a real opponent.

You literally act like going down to A&m on opening week when everybody has something to play for is a cakewalk lol

That's literally a very tough place to play in the country and they have a very good home record ... 6-1 at home last year

20-5 at home The last 5 years.. not an easy place to go to

They also play Georgia tech, USC , Louisville Arizona , FSU... Yeah Florida state looks like a mess but even the pollsters had them top 10... Won the ACC last year.. that is never considered an easy game before the season starts

So they play the top 2 ACC teams from last year...and the 4th ... Arizona won 10 games last year... And they went to A&m

Kansas Oklahoma State NC State Arizona Missouri North Carolina Indiana and Syracuse all have easier ranked schedules according to strength of schedule

Do they have the hardest schedule? No... Is it the easiest in the country, no

Each and every team in the SEC has a tougher schedule. MUCH tougher. I don't follow the Big 10 but I am somewhat sure that every Big 10 Team has a harder schedule as well.

ND will probably go undefeated beating patsies and get a very high playoff seed, before getting trounced  by the first really good team they face.

Yeah but you just being a Alabama fan blinds the rest of your college football goggles bro

You literally think if you don't have an SEC schedule it has to be cake lol

I literally named 9 power 5 schools with an easier schedule according to strength of schedule...including an SEC School Missouri .. Utah and Texas tech also have a lower ranked schedule

Again it's not a super hard schedule but it's not the easiest schedule in the world.. playing the top two ACC teams from last year and a 10 win Arizona team and going to A&m week 1, playing USC ... GT is solid... that is tougher than 65 division 1 schools

NIL and "the portal" will bury college football as we all know it.  You either pay to play...or frankly, don't bother investing in that expensive coach and infrastructure.  Go win baseball or soccer.
