I was on Mastodon about 4 days in 2018 I think and even I could see that a large number of posts were geared towards PEDOs and left for good. The EU was not bothered by that and I doubt it is right now. I have never been on Telegram but I doubt that the shut down is primarily based on child exploitation, but I will accept future information as it comes in with an open mind.
