Well then, there should be zero issue. 
 

Prosecuting someone for knowingly facilitating CSAM because they are knowingly facilitating CSAM and refuse to do anything about it changes nothing in terms of precedent for free speech. 
 

If they make the same attempt against someone who isn’t knowingly facilitating CSAM, then this case won’t serve as useful precedent.

I was on Mastodon about 4 days in 2018 I think and even I could see that a large number of posts were geared towards PEDOs and left for good. The EU was not bothered by that and I doubt it is right now. I have never been on  Telegram but I doubt that the shut down is primarily based on child exploitation, but I will accept future information as it comes in with an open mind. Stomping out child exploitation should be a major focus of all good people, but right now there is no good evidence anyone is willing to do the hard work to make it happen.
