1984: Founder/CEO of Telegram and supporter of free speech arrested in France

Recommended Posts

Pavel Durov left Russia when the government tried to control his social media company, Telegram. But in the end, it wasn’t Putin who arrested him for allowing the public to exercise free speech. It was a western country, a Biden administration ally and enthusiastic NATO member, that locked him away. Pavel Durov sits in a French jail tonight, a living warning to any platform owner who refuses to censor the truth at the behest of governments and intel agencies. Darkness is descending fast on the formerly free world. Here’s our interview with Durov from several months ago:

Will tell you that the US government colluding with private companies to censor journalists and private citizens alike is merely "content moderation"

The King. A disgusting waste of skin.

Not sure Elmo is happy about being third on this list. Ouch.

also look at that. 1-Chinese data mining, 2-Russian owned, 3-owned by Saudi/Russian and Chinese investors, 4-Russian investors… it’s almost as if foreign influence is trying to shape the media landscape to promote far right ideas. Weird.

If you can’t enable drug trafficking and child abuse, can you even call it freedom?

I guess the guy thinks, tell me who these traffickers are, get a warrant, and I'll give you access to their accounts. But if governments wants Carte Blanche access to every account to perform data mining and profile creation exercises while snooping on everyone without establishing any "probable cause" to legally justify their actions forget it.

How can anyone concerned with privacy while assisting and cooperating with law enforcement actions protest this approach?

FYI - this is likely why Google works with the government to spy on you.

Nothing to see here.  DeMoCrAcY

Dude, it’s advertising and corporations you need to worry about… which is why they try to make it look like government. Sigh.

Lets look at Epstine’s flight logs again… or all those photos of the felon and Elmo with him and Maxwell to start.

Do you know he was willing to turn over people’s accounts or just guessing?

The jokes on you, after Trump wins he's going to use these laws to ban all left leaning discussion. If you post anything bad about him you will be thrown in jail for "misinformation."

“We can’t prosecute child porn because it’s a slippery slope to total government censorship” is certainly a take.

Not a good one, though

Don't ask the King to explain the reliable media reporting on Instagram/Facebook child exploitation and nothing happening to Zuckerberg.

I say this because it will happily "explain" with jaw dropping hand waving and bloviating. It's The King for a reason.

Musk gives the real explanation.
