Hard to believe they are rolling out Damar Hamlin as a starting Safety.  Truly a stupid decision  🙄

I imagine this will be short term until Edward’s/Bishop is ready

haha. This is as misleading of a stat as I have seen. The YPA difference is .5 yard. And the TD difference is due to the fact that Milano only played in basically 4 full games.

(this also doesn’t account for the fact that we had no Bernard or Milano for the last two games).

Damir Hamlin is a 4th safety in the NFL, and that is what we are down to.  His familiarity with the system will provide a few early season starts.

Thursday in Miami will be a problem.

Hamlin has not looked good when I have seen him in game action. Hard for me to believe he's our best option, or a better option than signing Micah Hyde out of retirement. Hope Damar got better this summer

I am not stressing about Hamlin (yet). I think we will see him revert to more of his pre-heart attack form— more aggressive And hard hitting. Plus, we have Bishop healthy now, so I am Guessing there will be a bit of a rotation back there anyway.

Will it? Last time we played them early in the year we had 3/4 of the secondary out heading into the game then Benford went down in the 1st or 2nd series and we rolled out UDFA PS callup Ja'Marcus Ingram as a rookie who played almost the whole game as the other starting CB. Literally the whole secondary was out that game.

Tua had something like 150 yards passing that game and the Fins had under 250 for the game.

And about 50 came from one throw to Waddle.

That was pretty much the only big play of the game for them and the Fins scored 21 points, including one TD where the drive started inside the Bills 10 yard line due to a strip/sack/fumble on Allen. Bills did not lose because of the defense that day.

The Cardinals haven't won in Buffalo since 1971. Let's hope that streak continues. They are 0-4 in Buffalo since that win.

Bills went 1-13 that season.  The franchise's worse.
