I agree to a point about pass coverage, but you still have to be good enough against the run even in the modern NFL.

If you aren’t physical enough to deal with blockers or smart enough to avoid misdirection, that can be a huge Achilles Heel. Even the most pass-happy NFL offenses will gladly just run the ball down your throat if you can’t stop them. 
 

EDIT: forgot about pass rushing LBs too.

Nice run stop from Hardy. I feel good about him and Ingram as depth outside. Honestly Elam feels like the odd man out right now, I won't be surprised if he's a regular on the inactive list this year.
