It really doesn’t matter, I suppose, but why not let a backup QB and some players that are backups take a rep on a 4th and 2 instead of kicking a 30 yard field goal? What is more valuable to the team?

It’s obvious- they don’t trust Bass and want him to get as much practice as possible. I bet they kick that field goal even if it was 4th and inches.

These are like our 3rd and 4th string players... most of these guys won't even be on 53.

I'd rather give Bass the confidence boost, he needs it. I hope we kick as many FGs as possible.

Not to excuse other times but outside of Solomon who I’m not sure was in the 2nd series, they are literally playing the bottom of the DL roster for this game
