Who do the Establishment keep trying to promote? Trump went along with the Establishment during Covid- mainly because he had such minimal knowledge on the subject (as everyone did), that he had no choice… But he goes against the Establishment on foreign policy, as well as domestic policy relating to DEII and the border…👍 https://www.opensecrets.org/elections-overview/biggest-donors Follow the money, got it.

Andy1 Posted August 28 Author Posted August 28 More than 200 Republicans who worked for President George W. Bush, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) or the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, warning in a letter that a second Trump presidency “will hurt real, everyday people and weaken our sacred institutions.” The open letter with the endorsement was first published Monday in USA Today, with 238 signatures. In the letter, the GOP alumni wrote that they are voting for Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, despite policy differences. “Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz,” they wrote. “That’s to be expected. The alternative, however, is simply untenable.” Here is the link to letter and signees. https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25071901/bush-mccain-and-romney-alumni-for-harris-statement.pdf 1 1

It will be easy to tell who's who now Yes, it has been discussed because it is remarkable. It is amazing how none of the people who worked closely with Trump are willing to publicly support him. Most are staying silent to avoid MAGA backlash. Many have come out publicly to warn America about him. The further people are from Trump, the more appealing he seems. In all my years of following politics, I’ve never seen this level of disgust towards a former president by his former Republican team members/employees. If you were interviewing someone for a job and his former coworkers spoke like this, no one would hire him. Here is a small sample of what people who worked closely with Trump have said about him: General John Kelly: “The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me. . . . He’s the most flawed person I have ever met in my life.” General Jim Mattis: “He’s dangerous. He’s unfit.” “The president has no moral compass.” “This degradation of the American experiment is real.” Dan Coats: “He doesn’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.” Rex Tillerson: “A moron.” Mitt Romney: “I think he’s not smart. I mean really not smart.” “A whack job.” Gary Cohn: “Dumb as *****.” 1 2

They obviously thought they could have a positive impact on Trump, channeling his PR skills into actual policy. They all failed. 1

Use your head. You just listed all of the elites in Washington who don't want to lose power. If Trump gets in it's over for them. They tried to smear him in the press, impeach him, jail him, assassinate him, and he just keeps on coming! They are getting desperate. Politicians are the absolute scum of the earth and I can't wait to see them all go down. You love to see it! 1 1 1 1

Trump only hires the most qualified and best people. But I guess if they disagree with him, they instantly morph into the elite Washington swamp scum. 1 1 1

No response to Kamala being an absolute moron who everyone hates at best, a Marxist at worst? I personally don't even agree with Trump on many things but for now he's useful in taking down the power hungry trash bags in Washington. If you are for the Washington elites then I don't know what to say, you are too far gone. Edited August 28 by K D 1 1

So it’s RFK jr and Elon Musk for him. They’ll leave as well and a dolt will be making his own world altering decisions. Not ideal. 1

You don't even know what her positions are. You want the swamp to remain in power and nothing will ever get better that way. Sad. Let me guess, you would have rooted for the British in 1776? There were plenty of people like you back then too. You want the ruling class to reign over us apparently. Edited August 28 by K D

I'm aware of the party rules. I'm aware that the DNC is not family biz like the RNC. I also get the opportunity to vote down ticket. I'll win one there for senate and lose one for the house. such is democracy.

She absolutely wrecked Kamala because she's real and Kamala is a bum. Dem vs Republican doesn't matter if they are part of the Uniparty regime. Bush, Cheney, Romney. All trash. That's the beauty of being independent. You aren't brain dead and stuck with 1 person to vote for. RFK would have had a good chance to win the Dem nomination if this was actually a Democracy and not an autocracy or at the very least an oligarchy.

The ones you mentioned are unpalatable to me.
