julian Posted August 19 Posted August 19 After seeing what we’ve seen from Davis, if a team suffered a rb1 injury and called offering a day 2 pick would you do it ? I think I do it, he’s not getting a 2nd contract and you might be better with Davis at rb1, Ty Johnson looks like he’s a capable #2. 5 4 1 1 10 9 1 11 Quote

BillsFan130 Posted August 19 Posted August 19 100 percent RBs are the easiest position to fill. 2 more years and I would let Cook walk anyways as I'm not a believer in paying RBs 2nd contracts unless you're CMC 1 1 Quote
LeGOATski Posted August 19 Posted August 19 No. I'm keeping him for the full contract. Not that I'm super into Cook. Just playing the odds, which say a round 3 or 4 pick is likely not to be as good as the guy who was just top 5 in all purpose yards. I'd keep him on the contact and then transition to Davis when the contract is up. 6 3 1 Quote

strive_for_five_guy Posted August 19 Posted August 19 No, it won’t hurt having two capable RBs in Cook and Davis. Did it hurt to have Thurman and Kenneth Davis? 3 1 Quote

Ga boy Posted August 19 Posted August 19 If would have to be day 1. I think Cook will have a better year this year, and that’s saying a lot. Remember, this is pre-season, and Cook is not allowed to cook. 2 Quote

Scott7975 Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Im not huge on Cook but probably not. He is still pretty explosive and its not like we have much explosive on the offense. Maybe next year after some of these rookies transition and maybe we add to the roster. 1 1 Quote

Well, to be fair, Thurman was a HOFer and Kenneth Davis was a quality backup. If Allen had those two, Allen has 3 rings now, not Mahomes. 2 1 Quote
