zow2 Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Andreesen. From Depew to Lancaster HS, to Bryant and finally UB. Really makes you wonder sometimes. The Bills spend all that time scouting LBs and spending draft picks, and this dude literally walks on locally for a tryout and looks better than any of them. 9 1 1 Quote
Saxum Posted August 18 Posted August 18 It is Andreessen - A n d r double e double s e n . https://www.houseofnames.com/andreessen-family-crest https://www.igenea.com/en/surnames/a/andreessen Quote The meaning of the Andreessen name is representative of strength and courage. It's an apt name for those who possess these qualities, whether that be striving to make their dreams a reality or ensuring their family's safety and well-being. People with the Andreessen name are driven and ambitious, making them committed to whatever task sets out before them. There's no corner of the world they won't go to in order to succeed. These qualities have been exemplified throughout the ages by real Andreesens, demonstrating that being of the Andreessen name is a badge of honor. Appropriate for a NFL player. I hate it when people can not make effort to spell names correctly. My name has only 5 letters and it constantly misspelled. Once a security personnel lead asked me why I did not include spelling with 4 letters as an alias - I said it is not an alias and he said that it is someone else' mistake and he said I should have included notation that it was spelled wrong. A few weeks latter there was a mistake made and there was a document stating "that idiot in security" cost company a lot of money. I saw that and asked him if he included "idiot in security" as an alias in future documents - he never brought up misspelling again. 1 Quote

I get mail addressed to Ms. Erin .... All the time. People commonly assume my name is spelled Aaron, or call me Eric when they see the spelling of my name. I once deployed to Saudi and when I got there, they had to give me a new dorm room, because they placed me in the female dorm. To be honest, I don't even care. Got bigger things to worry about then people getting my name wrong. Edited August 18 by Herc11 2 2 5 Quote

Brand J Posted August 18 Posted August 18 With backup MLB Baylon Spector consistently nursing some sort of injury, Andreesen took the opportunity and ran with it. Game ball for him. 6 1 2 Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted August 18 Posted August 18 "Buffalo" Joe Andreessen was the player of the game tonight. In the hole stopping up running plays, pursuing RB's in the backfield, holding the point of attack against bigger OLs and TEs... Dude won a job tonight. Josh and Thad are saying maybe PS, but I believe my eyes. Dude was all over the field tonight against 1s, 2s, and 3s. He's my LB right now. 8 Quote
