Go BOLD - 2024 NFL bold predictions 2024

Non Bills

1. Giants win 10 or 11 games and make the playoffs, helped by an absolutely ferocious pass rush, a decent year from Daniel Jones, and Malik Nabors winning the rookie of the year award.

2. Cincinnati is the AFC champ.

3. Dolphins win the AFC East.

4. Green Bay is the NFC champ.

5. New England, Seattle, and the Raiders battle it out for the top overall pick.

6. Sam Darnold, finally in a good offense, puts up strong numbers and the Vikings battle legitimately for a wild card slot.

Bills

1. Go 9-8 and fans come to realize that this really is a rebuilding year and not a reset year -- made evident recently by the fact that they didn't try to sign Simmons despite a pretty dire safety situation. Whether they make the playoffs depends entirely on forces outside their control, but 9-8 is usually on the outside looking in.

2. Dalton Kincaid puts up 1,000+ yards and lives up to the hype.

3. Von Miller has a max of five sacks.

4. The defense, whose overall talent is now very average, sinks to the middle of the pack/slightly below (16-21 range for ranking) after regularly being in the top ten. It costs them multiple games.

5. Curtis Samuel proves that he's a good player who just needed a good QB and puts up Percy Harvin year three-type numbers.

6. Special teams continue to be a problem.

  • Cincy goes 7-10
  • Cowboys reach the SB
  • Atlanta is much improved after canning Arthur Smith
  • Cleveland wins AFC North for the 1st time since 1989

  • Bills grind out an 11-6 season, win AFC East
  • NY Jets go 8-9 but sweep the Bills somehow
  • JA 32 TDs 13 INTs
  • Something heartbreaking happens in the Bills 1st playoff game and they lose (maybe that's not bold)

Just going with a few on the bills:

1. Von Miller leads the bills in sacks (only one to hit double digits)

2. Curtis Samuel is Swiss Army knife we all been wishing for. Leads bills in all purpose yards

3. Bills fall short of clinching 5th straight AFC East title.

4. Cook continues his critical drops. By mid season Ray Davis is RB1

5. First bills coach fired will be Matthew Smiley

Damn I can’t wait for season but these are pretty negative

Fish win AFC East, sweep bills

Chiefs lose only 3 games, cruise to their 3rd consecutive SB win

Burrow injured the majority of season again

Bills win 7 games on the back of a terrible defense and a mediocre offense, TSW spends the whole season making excuses

I'm not going to do Chiefs stuff here...I am biased....but my BOLD predictions -

BILLS Predictions - Dalton Kincaid will lead the Bills in receptions and recieving TD's.

The Bills will lose on the road at NE.

Kalil Shakir will be Bills best WR. (maybe no so bold)

Pegula will put team up for sale after (D) win the presidential election.

Now some in general for NFL.

The Patriots will have the worst record in the NFL (this is NOT bold)

The Bears will make the playoffs.

the Packers will not make the playoffs.

DK Metcalf will lead all WR in TD catches this year.

Spencer Rattler will end the season as the Saints starting QB and look good....will be the steal of this draft.

The Ravens will not make the playoffs.  Derrick Henry will prove to be washed up.

The Browns will win the AFC North.

Andreessen is our starting WLB by week 5.  Dorian Williams makes splash plays here and there but is constantly out of position.

McDermott makes the switch.

By 2027, Disney makes a movie about him.

Chris Pratt plays Allen

That Spiderman kid plays Andreessen

Jason Statham plays McDermott

The guy that played the bad guy from the Matrix plays Beane

Donald Faison puts on a lot of weight to play Dion Dawkins

Michael B Jordan plays Keon.

I have thought about this too much so I'm going to stop now.

Still trying to die on that "Jordan Love isn't good" hill? Yea. Take the L on that one.

I think he is good.  I don't think the Packers are.  Before going on that late season run, where they were quite good, they were 6-8.  It's pretty common for a team that takes the kind of step forward that the Packers did, tend to take a step back the following season.

Non Bills

1. The Lions, yes, the Lions represent the NFC in the Super Bowl

2. Aaron Rodgers gets hurt in October. He is named by the next President as Director of Conspiracies for the US Government. He accepts. He Does the job for the rest of the season and finds out  his conspiracy theories were wrong or not that exciting.

Bills

1. McDermott breaks a finger while clapping. As a result of clapping too much, he hires an offensive control clapper rather than someone to help him manage time.

2. Sedrick Van Pran becomes the starting center by week #6 and McGovern goes back to where he belongs: left guard.

This is why if the Texans go 9-8 and miss I wouldn't be surprised. They were a dropped screen pass in game 18 from missing, Stroud is awesome but they are not perfect either and the chance of them missing last year was really high.

That said I think Texans will be fine and I agree GB is getting probably a bit too much love.

I want to make predictions about Bears making the playoffs, Cowboys failing to make the playoffs, Eagles being back on form and making the championship game

Lions disappointing and falling off this season with lots of close losses.

But actually I just feel like:

Chiefs 3peat

Mahomes wins league MVP

Mahomes wins Super Bowl MVP

Only team that can stop them is the Bengals (Burrow has an MVP-like season but everyone votes for Mahomes anyway) they lose to Chiefs in the championship game after a controversial call, all non KC fans call fix, shout "what's the point in watching this anymore? It's basically the WWE"

-Conference championships Texans at Chiefs, Lions at Packers

Bills (I'm in a bad mood today, so here goes)

  1. Bills go 9-8 and miss the playoffs. That's the record they should have had last year if not for a few lucky bounces and other teams rolling over (KC, Chargers, Fins) and the roster is much worse so maybe 9-8 is optimistic.
  2. Beane and McDermott are both fired.
  3. Kincaid has a nice year, but it's overshadowed by the dominance of LaPorta (who they could have had)
  4. Bills don't have a single player with over 700 receiving yards.

The skill position players that the Bills have provided their franchise QB this year is criminal.

Low positive indeed.

I could see all your Bills and non Bills predictions hitting with the exception of AJE.  I just don't ever see him as a double digit sack guy. If anyone is surpassing the 10+ mark it will probably be Rousseau. I'm going to be very patient with Coleman and enjoy watching him develop chemistry with JA.

Non-Bills:

-DET vs. KC Super Bowl (Det wins)

-CJ Stroud wins MVP

-Jets win AFC east

-Caleb Williams wins offensive rookie of the year

Bills:

-Sneak into playoffs as a wild card (9-8)

-Keon Coleman 45 catches for 550 yds and 5tds

-Bills lose in wild card round

-McDermott retained as head coach due to defensive injuries at end of season

-Von Miller not available for playoffs due to injury

I have only one:

Bills, Oilers and Celtics win their respective leagues and I win 50k (bet is already in, €100, 500:1 odds).

Dude I have bad news for you.  Twice.

1. The Oilers moved years ago.  They’re the Titans now.

2. The Titans and Bills can’t both win, they’re in the same league.
