How bad does it have to get?  Can it get any worse?  Pretty much every single person here sees that there has to be a change at the top.  Either bring in someone to take over of the entire operation or (hate to say it) sell the team.  We’re nothing but a feeder operation for the rest of the league at this point.

Rename the team, and a uniform change.  Get the uniforms from the original Disney 'Mighty Ducks' movie.  No matter who the goaltender is, the uniform says 'GOLDBERG'.

Elliotte Friedman reporting that the Vancouver Canucks are shopping JT Miller and Elias Pettersson to trade 1 of them (it sounds like Miller and Petey are like oil and water). They want a center in return, but also really need defenseman too.

 

Buffalo feels like the perfect trade partner.

 

Miller is older (32 in March) but also might be more of what we need in the locker room. He’s reportedly a very demanding and outspoken veteran (and is supposedly very hard on Pettersson, which is where the rift comes from) and would immediately be our #1 C.

 

Pettersson is younger (26) and would also immediately be our #1 C, now and long term. He’s definitely the higher skill player, but apparently more of a soft spoken guy.

 

Miller has a NTC. Pettersson’s doesn’t kick in until the summer.

 

With a NTC, JT Miller may not even be an option. I did read he’d want to play for a U.S. team if he’s traded. So, maybe a slight possibility? lol

 

I’d be happy with either guy though!

I'd give them Cozens, Samuelsson and two 1st Round picks.
