Playing still seems like an outside chance for Tage. Pesce playing is more likely. I like Tage but I hope he isn't in the lineup. 1 Quote
US Egg Posted February 21 Posted February 21 (edited) Anyone watching U.S./Canada O.T. now? My heart has kicked it up a notch. Oh well. It was there. Nothing better in hockey than this stuff. Edited February 21 by US Egg 1 Quote

USA def had it's chances to put it away in OT but that's the breaks sometimes Watching that game just makes me really wish the Sabres were still relevant though, I miss playoff hockey! 2 4 Quote
QCity Posted February 21 Posted February 21 (edited) Tough pill to swallow when you lose going 1-1 h2h. Binnington was supposed to be their weakness. Edited February 21 by QCity 2 Quote
Beast Posted February 21 Posted February 21 That’s what happens when you rely on a Maple Leaf to win a game for ya. 1 1 Quote
Jauronimo Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Great game. Excellent performance by team USA but I think Canada got the better of the high quality scoring chances last night. We had our chances to win it and Binnington made the saves he had to make. USA was sloppy defensively and we really missed McAvoy and Hughes. Two guys chased the puck and left McDavid all alone. Definitely wouldn't recommend that. Huge moment for McDavid and his legacy. Flashbacks of the Vancouver Olympics. The 2026 Olympic Games can't get here fast enough. 2 1 Quote
eball Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Fun game. Didn't feel bad at all seeing Canada take it. '26 Olympics should be great. 2 2 Quote

Mike in Horseheads Posted February 23 Posted February 23 NYP writers were not nice to the Rangers this morning for their effort. And the fans comments are glorious trashing the team. it's nice for once to be on the other side. https://nypost.com/2025/02/22/sports/rangers-destroyed-by-sabres-in-embarrassing-loss-in-return-from-4-nations-break/ Quote
Gregg Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Watched OV get a hat trick yesterday vs the Oilers. He is now 13 away from breaking Gretsky's all-time goal scoring record. Even though I am not a Caps fan (Isles fan) I have to give credit to #8. 39 years old and he is still going strong. He will eventually pass Gretsky and score over 900 goals and maybe even reach 1,000 if he can play a few more years at a high level. Either way he is the GOAT goal scorer of all-time. He has certainly burned my Isles over the years. 1 Quote

March 30th I'm not even sure if that would stand out as being that big of a disgrace as a Sabres fan, might actually be cool to see your team involved in a historical moment like that. Didn't Gretzky break the all-time single season goal record against the Sabres? 1 Quote
