gomper
This sucks. No way around it. I'm obviously not a Vikings fan, but I love watching rookie QB's play and develop. Imagine getting drafted and you're about to fulfill a lifelong dream and this happens. It's like getting half a b...w j...

If Bryce Young doesnt seriously improve, Carolina is the only other team I can think of with nothing to look forward to At least the panthers can look forward actually having a first round pick this year. That Bryce Young trade was brutal.
Gambit
As much as I want the Vikes to suck for our pick we got from them, this is awful. Hopefully they get good news on Addison. 1
Royale with Cheese
If Addison is done, then the Vikings have had the worst day in NFL history. The last 1st round rookie QB to lose an entire season to injury was in the 60's and then you lose your #2 wide out (potentially).
KingBoots8
That sucks that he’s done for the season. They likely aren’t going to be super competitive anyway even with Jefferson. The best they can hope for is a similar situation to Burrow when he went down during his rookie year- they’ll have a very high pick in the draft and can work to shore up their holes and get weapons for their QB. Has to be one of the worst trades in NFL history Bears got: DJ Moore 9th overall pick in 2023 (Darnell wright OT) 1st overall pick (Caleb Williams) 2025 second rounder Panthers got: Bryce Young Woof 1 1 2

bills6969
Not the worst thing in the world. He can sit out a year and learn and not get thrown the the wolves immediately.

Back2Buff
With or without JJ, they are a 2-5 win team. That schedule is brutal.

I imagine he still has nightmares about using the S2 test that helped him decide to pick an undersized QB over a guy who did poorly on an unreliable test. Yeah, I mean he could have had to have his leg amputated. Not the worst thing at all. Edited August 14 by Beast
