Yikes, that’s a bummer for the Vikings.

….doesn’t hurt our 2nd round pick though.

Editing to add: Just found out he’s done for the season. Awful news, and I hope the kid can bounce back next year and do well.

He’s going to get over drafted this year considering he IS Justin Jefferson. I don’t plan on being the one to do it.

Oy vey, Darnold.  I might have to rethink Jefferson as my fantasy keeper.

Star WRs on bad teams still eat.

This could be a season ender, no? Depending on how they decide to treat it?

Not really.  Going to be hard to win a job as a rookie missing a ton of preseason and practice.  Likely only sees the field if they're out of it the last 6 weeks, or darnold gets hurt after he returns.  Possible if darnold struggles they could put him in, but it depends on length of time he's rehabbing - and whether there's an increased chance of re-injury.  He's going to miss a lot of practice time so even when he comes back there will be a lot of catch-up.

With his age being only 21, they'll surely opt for meniscus repair. That's a 6 month recovery & higher probability for complications. If that's the route they go, doubtful he plays this season.

Being that Darnold isn’t good, I think you have a point with your rethink,

That sucks.  I think he will be solid and still surprised the NYG passed him by on draft day.  I get Nabers,,, but the Giants really need a QB imo and JJ was a good fit and was right there for them.
