KingBoots8 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 (edited) Yikes, that’s a bummer for the Vikings. ….doesn’t hurt our 2nd round pick though. Editing to add: Just found out he’s done for the season. Awful news, and I hope the kid can bounce back next year and do well. Edited August 14 by KingBoots8 6 1 2 Quote
Mark Vader Posted August 13 Posted August 13 That really sucks, but he still has his superhot girlfriend. 1 1 5 Quote
Process Posted August 13 Posted August 13 This could be a season ender, no? Depending on how they decide to treat it? Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Yikes. So it really is Sam Darnold the entire year. That 2nd rounder could easily be the first pick in the 2nd round. 2 Quote
eball Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Oy vey, Darnold. I might have to rethink Jefferson as my fantasy keeper. 1 1 Quote

Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 13 Posted August 13 20 minutes ago, Process said: This could be a season ender, no? Depending on how they decide to treat it? Not really. Going to be hard to win a job as a rookie missing a ton of preseason and practice. Likely only sees the field if they're out of it the last 6 weeks, or darnold gets hurt after he returns. Possible if darnold struggles they could put him in, but it depends on length of time he's rehabbing - and whether there's an increased chance of re-injury. He's going to miss a lot of practice time so even when he comes back there will be a lot of catch-up. Quote
TBBills Fan Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Ouch, hate to hear that for the kid. It is good for us tho Quote
947 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 With his age being only 21, they'll surely opt for meniscus repair. That's a 6 month recovery & higher probability for complications. If that's the route they go, doubtful he plays this season. Quote

Doc Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Well that pretty much makes his rookie season a bust. And Jefferson's numbers will take a hit. Quote

Cray51 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 A second round pick around 35 next year would be something nice to have. Capable DE/WR/DT/S there for sure. Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Good thing we signed DiNucci before the Vikings could get him. 4 Quote
zow2 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 That sucks. I think he will be solid and still surprised the NYG passed him by on draft day. I get Nabers,,, but the Giants really need a QB imo and JJ was a good fit and was right there for them. Quote
