Watched bits and pieces of the game and just saw the hilites. NFL exhibition is probably the worst in any sport to get a real idea of anything. Though a couple of observations. I'm puzzled at the point of this solution to the Kickoffs. Seems pretty lame. From a personnel standpoint, I struggle to find a reason for Trubisky getting resigned. He still looks so bad. The 3rd stringer? Buechele doesn't look NFL calibre.

I'll be surprised if we don't see some creative things with the kickoff in the regular season. We saw in the XFL and UFL that it can produce big plays, while also reducing huge hits and injuries. It's a fine solution in my book. One that the NFL simply couldn't come up with on its own, but thank God for those spring leagues.

You're a lot higher on some of them than me. Cook, I can see. He and Johnson could be on my maybe list.

They're the obvious choices. Taron probably is the best slot corner in the league and Cook broke out last year with top 5 yards from scrimmage. He's better than many teams' top backs.

Ok, I'll bite. Here's a list of players on the bills I think any team would want today:

Definitely:

Allen

Milano

Dawkins

Maybe:

Oliver

Groot

Kincaid (too new)

Who else?

Reid Ferguson?

Any word on Ed Oliver injury?

No official update but it was nothing serious. They said he could have come back into the game but the coaches kept him out to prevent further risk of a serious injury.

Pros:

• Josh Allen is our QB.

• Curtis Samuel is good as advertised.

• I believe Khalil Shakir is a legitimate starter.

• I believe Ray Davis is a starting caliber RB.

• The line was bad, but it wasn’t because of Granger.

• Bass nailed a 50 yarder.

• Solomon looked great.

• Elam is a good player, but he’s stuck behind two studs at CB (Douglas & Benford.)

I think he just banged knees with someone.

Yeah, seemed pretty innocuous. His removal was precautionary more than anything else.

its chiefs jaguars time.

which means their first round wr are going to go for like 6-80 yards and 2 TD's because they are the greatest players ever.

Agree with all of it but fixed the Shakir part. Also impressed with Rousseau in his limited action. And I love Hamlers explosiveness. He needs to make the team because he has a skill set no one else does.

One of those minor dings that are game enders in the preseason but you would have just taken a few plays off in the regular season.
