Video: Why is Kamala Harris so reluctant to do an interview after becoming the Dem nominee?

Recommended Posts

Let's put the Biden/Harris/Trump debate in terms Quack will understand.

Quack agrees to be a keynote speaker at a medical conference held at Pebble Beach Resort. Former President Clinton as special guest.

The conference is subsequently moved to Trump National Golf Club LA. Former President Trump as special guest.

Is Quack required to go to Trump's golf club, still be a keynote speaker and glad hand with Trump?

The confusion is that he knows she's winning.  Otherwise he would have stuck to his guns about not doing ABC and only doing Fox.  He showed that she now has the upper hand.  She hasn't refused Fox.  She'd be wise to wait and see how the first debate goes before committing to anything else.  She may have a decent lead by then.

Trump was clowning her saying he would see if he’d debate her because he didn’t know if they’d chuck her like they did Biden.  With her making a VP and the DNC a week-and-a-half away, the time to replace her is gone. So he said he’d agree to the ABC debate but challenged her to one on Fox, knowing she’ll never agree.  And then he’ll be able to rightfully call her afraid.

You completely ignore the new "anyone but trump" voters.  They're increasing and more shite shows like yesterdays presser will increase that group rapidly.  And there will be more.  He's lost it.

There are no new “anyone but Trump” voters. They’re the same as before. That’s why her “lead” is fake news.

I don't ignore anyone, that's a limitation on your thinking, not mine.  Here's where we stand:

  • Harris/Walz may win, meaning Trump/Vance lose;
  • Trump/Vance may win, meaning Trump/Vance lose;

The election is 90 days out.  Harris has been in the game for a month.  Walz has been in the game for 20 minutes.

"Anyone but Trump" voters are part of the dem base and have been since 2016.  "New" adherents may well be a factor, and part of their decision-making may involve student loan forgiveness/higher taxation on other citizens, whatever.  It's a great play to appeal to anyone with debt looking to have it relieved.  We'll know in 90 days.

My favorite part was when she flubbed up the rapper question. I suppose she was joking when she said Tupac, not sure.  But then she could name anyone. Then she said she didn't want to mention anyone cuz she wanted them to stay in their lane or something whatever that means.

Another politician too afraid to give an answer to an innocuous question like this.

Reminded me of the time in 2016 when the Bills were playing the Jets or Giants.  Tim Russert interviewed Hillary.  He closed out the interview with "who do you want to win the game Sunday?"  She said " I hope it's a good game and no one gets hurt."

This is not the first rapper question she's flubbed up.  Remember when she listened to Tupac and Snoop while getting high in college?  Makes me wonder if she really likes rap (not a bad thing if she doesn't).  She is portrayed as the cool young hip candidate.  But she is 59 years old.  Not ancient but not a spring chicken either.  She graduated from HS in 1982.  2  Live Crew wasn't even making records when she was in college.  When she was in college rap was MC Hammer, Run-DMC, Vanilla Ice, and The Sugar Hill Gang.  She's a phony on a lot of things so why not this too?

Im really disappointed in this board on the Tupac thing.

With all the conspiracies here, this is such a low hanging fruit.

Kamala is obviously part of the Illuminati.

The Illuminati knows Tupac is alive.

Kamala, being sooooo dumb, let it slip that Tupac is alive.

She wasn't even running for president 20 days ago. Since then, she's had to take over a political campaign organization, secure support within the party, do a bunch of rallies, and pick a VP. Gotta think that a sit down interview with the press hasn't been at the top of her list.

I would prefer she do a substantive interview before the convention but her polling numbers have basically only gone up. So what she's doing seems to be working anyway.

Dems really would vote for a tuna can if they are told to.

You’re the one playing dumb ( or maybe u really are). Trump agreed to the ABC September 10 debate. Then he didn’t. Now he does. What do you make of that?

Harris agreed to 2 debates with Vance.  Is she gonna honor that?

Are you ok?  This seems a little unhinged, bud.  I clearly posted twice that Trump's depiction probably isnt totally accurate. Is it the fact that he may be telling some truth that has your panties in a bunch?

We agree that it wasn't Willy Brown, pal. Deep breaths here. Can you fathom that he was in a helicopter with Jerry Brown and mixed the guys up?

Why is Trump reluctant to string together a coherent sentence. Hey we’re all snowflakes trying our best.

A rise in all-or-nothing thinking is connected to cognitive decline. Pennebaker told STAT that Biden’s all-or-nothing thinking has also increased.

Pennebaker noted that a linguistic metric of analytic thinking reveals that Trump’s levels of complexity are remarkably low – most presidential candidates range between 60 and 70 in the metric, while Trump ranges from 10 to 24, something Pennebaker called “staggering.”

“He does not think in a complex way at all,” he added.

“You’d expect some cognitive diminishment, of course, he’s 78 years old,” he said.

He added that he couldn’t give a diagnosis but said that Trump’s speaking style is concerning.

“There’s reasonable evidence suggestive of forms of dementia,” he told STAT. “The reduction in complexity of sentences and vocabulary does lead you to a certain picture of cognitive diminishment.”

Boston University neurology professor Andrew Budson told the outlet that Trump’s digressionsare likely connected to the frontal lobe, which is the part of the brain that is most affected by aging. The digressions could also be a sign of ADHD, bad sleep or it could be an indication of Alzheimer’s.

She says she might do one by the end of August…ONE (1) by the end of the month- 3 weeks away…

That would mean she would have been a presumptive presidential candidate for roughly a month and a half, without doing a sit down interview…

This is very curious…With so little time before the election, wouldn’t you want to let people get to know you, and what you stand for?

How about this?  Maybe she wants to get a well thought out platform assembled?

Donold put together an invite only presser and it was a total farce except for the cult. Lies, exaggerations, and his policy consists of “Gonna wave a magic wand”…..And this is answering questions🤪?

The best part was a lacky tossed out the whole Brown affair prearranged leading question….and he whiffed and made up a story about a helicopter crash….

Kh was not a candidate…she did not have her own platform, she had to choose a VP and it’s way more important for that campaign to set a tone rather than layout details.

FWIW   I would vote for any GOP candidate over kh….but never Donold

He's told the story before, so do you agree he is lying?
