At the end of day, it seems quite clear he was forced to tap out, and there typically is a reason for that sort of thing. Sometimes a velvet glove is used, other times the hammer comes down. Yeah, sorry if things are confusing for you, but that’s more of a you thing. Biden was convinced that continuing to run would be devastating for the party, so he stepped down.
