Wacka Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Around noon a F1 tornado hit the lower west side of Buffalo. It was within a mile of City Hall. No one was injured but a few trees were downed and a report of a car flipped. Was around Niagara and Carolina Streets for those who are familiar with the area. Quote
Saxum Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Surprise Tornado Does Damage In Buffalo, New York https://www.wunderground.com/video/top-stories/buffalo-tornado-nursing-home-damaged Quote The tornado was rated EF1 with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph. It was on the ground for just 6 minutes, A nursing home and a school were damaged but there weren't any immediate reports of injuries. I was downtown to change buses in early 1990s and I was picked up on one side of street and dropped on opposite side of street, Luckily there were no cars on road at that time. Quote
