He won’t return to form, but I suspect he is still a lot better than that. If I remember right, I think it took him weeks longer than expected to come back from his first one and regain confidence, so maybe again.... 1 Quote

Correct, fans were on his case because he was just sitting on his pile of money: Quote

Great for Benford but Tre White, one of the most likeable players in Bills history…. if you watch a Rams game, it looks like every other completion comes at Tre's expense. He looks like the worst CB in the league now. Sad. Quote

That top list reads like a bunch of my former draft crushes..... Gordon, Fulton, Jones, Surtain, Williams, Taylor. A bit like reading that all your exes are now making millions as city traders. Quote
soflabillsfan1 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Tre's toast. I was surprised anyone signed him that early in the offseason. His age with two major injuries at that position is tough. Quote

I thought if the top guys were gone he was the best fit for our defense too. I had him graded over McDuffie and while he has come along more slowly since the middle of last season he has been playing really good football. That corner duo of Gordon and Johnson in Chicago is very, very good. 1 Quote

Ouch, ouch, ouch. 2 PBUs, 0 INTs on the year. Quote
dgrochester55 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 (edited) It sucks getting rid of popular players, but so far the numbers show that it was the right choice. Age and injuries caught up to White and you could see a decline in Poyer last year. Just because our current safeties are not playing ideally does not mean that Poyer would have done any better. Low Positive Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Of all the guy that Beane released this off-season, the only one that I would take back (just from a performance standpoint) is Diggs. 1 Quote

Hopefully he could get back to form, all real Bills fans love Tre, man he was a legit, lockdown cb out the gate, was a pleasure to watch and his personality is amazing... Will always be a fan of his, root him on, unless he's playing the Bbills. 4 minutes ago, Royale with Cheese said: I don't think I want to see it then....it would be hard on me to see. Ya it is hard to watch.. 💯 Hopefully he has an epic turnaround in him. 40 minutes ago, Bermuda Triangle said: Poyer....ouch. Shows how great McD is w his DBs , scheme wise, to hide their flaws Quote
Dillenger4 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I've pounded the table here in recent posts that Tre was always a wash. I know he had some good games- but most of the time those good games were when we were up by 14-20 points in garbage time. (Not alwways). But my point is that he made good plays when it didn't matter. He was burned always when it did matter. I thought he was the worst Bill on our D. Too wimpy and it shows. Injuries aside, he has no dog in him. That's my 2 cents. 2 Quote

Bruffalo Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Every time I've seen LA this season they've been in man coverage and Tre gets toasted. Here's the thing though: Tre was never spectacular at man coverage, he always really shined in Zone. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a combination of age, injury, and generally just not a scheme fit for Tre. Quote

Diggs needs to do "performance" medication commercial since he was limp in second half of last year. Quote

Can't tackle, get's burned constatntly then will make a pass breakup when the game is out of reach etc. Anyway, just my opinion... 2 Quote
