You know after he quit the race. Dems in chaos propping up Harris. This all was magically fixed by January. Trump inherited a total disaster. Ignore the market. He is never fixing it with tariffs. Never.

The Frankish Reich Posted yesterday at 12:38 AM Posted yesterday at 12:38 AM Oh, and all market futures down on the order of 4% tonight. Look, we all know that even the stupid and mulish Trump will find some lame excuse to put his tariffs "on hold" or some such thing, probably declaring victory because Indonesia didn't retaliate or some such thing. But for now, he's letting it ride all the way to Hooverville. Just now, Roundybout said: These are the small companies by the way And of course small caps are getting hit the hardest - they are least able to adjust supply chains or eat short-term tariff losses. 1

If you're that upset about how things are going, do you ever look back at the election (from a Democratic perspective) and wish the party had run a more serious candidate? Instead of handing the nomination to someone who was clearly not suited for the job? Do you wish Biden had stepped aside much earlier in the process? It really seems to me that they decided early on that Trump was unelectable due to 'being a felon,' and as far as candidates they said, 'oh well we'll just run her,' and get some 'first woman of color president' points since ANYONE could've beaten Trump. That's how the strategy looked to me. 1

That's how the strategy looked to me. keep wearing that DT cheerleader sweater and waving those pom poms...Donnie loves him some cheerleaders and beauty queens. He should have been unelectable for many reasons, most importantly his criminal record. Hell, grabbing by the puss$ should have eliminated him from consideration from 1/2 the electorate. Can't imagine that would be pleasant. But I agree. America is still far too racist to elect a black, female prez. I blame Biden and his enablers for that. He dropped out far too late. History will hold him accountable. Edited 23 hours ago by Joe Ferguson forever 1 1

Do you ever wish a Trumpist with a brain (DeSantis?) had won?

Trump and his cast of clowns give bogus “rebuild American manufacturing” answer. MAGA believes the Great Deal is coming to fix America. In the end, it’s a senile old man who wants to feel powerful. He can’t be powerful unless he make others feel pain. More pain the better he feels. 1 1 2

Niagara Bill Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago There is about to be far more than a tariff war between 2 previous friends. With trump about to raise tariff on Canadian lumber to 34.5% from 14.5% the push back will be immense against the orange skerge. I cannot even imagine the reaction that will happen. I cannot even phathom the depth of the orange lies this man is telling. if you dont want the lumber, dont buy it. We will NEVER have the relationship that once existed. I voted against a stronger tie to Europe and France/ England 30 years ago. I was wrong. 1 1

USA imports lots of cheap oil from Canada, a nation with small population. With their small population, trade will never be equal between us and them. Yet in Yrumps feeble little brain, he thinks that means USA is losing. He is a psychopath with no restraints this time and this is just the beginning. Edited 13 hours ago by Andy1 1 1
Joe Ferguson forever Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) where have all the MAGA's gone? Checking their portfolios? Meanwhile, Jamie Dimon is waving the distress flag: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/jamie-dimon-warns-of-slower-growth-higher-inflation-as-tariffs-reshape-global-economy-were-not-in-kansas-anymore-101743849.html "The quicker this issue is resolved, the better because some of the negative effects increase cumulatively over time and would be hard to reverse," Dimon said in a section on the state of the economy titled "We're not in Kansas anymore." "In the short run, I see this as one large additional straw on the camel’s back,” Dimon added. Edited 13 hours ago by Joe Ferguson forever
