HereComesTheReignAgain Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) This is a little twist on the Top 100 List that is being revealed. If the league started over and all current players went into the draft pool, who would you predict as the top 10 picks? Would a non QB sniff the top 10? 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Burrow 4. Justin Herbert 5. CJ Stroud 6. Lamar Jackson 7. Jordan Love 8. Caleb Williams 9. Myles Garrett 10. TJ Watt Edited July 31 by HereComesTheReignAgain Quote
Juice_32 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Burrow 4. Justin Herbert CJ Stroud 5. CJ Stroud Lamar Jackson 6. Lamar Jackson Justin Herbert 7. Jordan Love 8. Caleb Williams 9. Myles Garrett Tua 10. TJ Watt Lawrence Quote
DapperCam Posted July 31 Posted July 31 I'll do 5 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Burrow 4. Stroud 5. Jackson I think the first 20 picks or so in an NFL redraft would be entirely quarterbacks. 1 Quote

Sestak4ever Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Might put Justin Jefferson and Christian McCaffery on there, not just quarterbacks. 1 1 Quote

Even after 12 or 13 there would still be guys like Trevor Lawrence, Goff, Kyler Murray, Cousins, Tua. Then the "high potential" QBs like Caleb Williams, Anthony Richardson, Jayden Daniels, etc. QB is just too important to take a pass rusher first. There is too much of a drop off between a Goff and a Sam Darnold to risk it. 3 Quote

I would probably have Justin Jefferson in the top 10 as a replacement. Pretty good list though. Quote

For the sake of discussion, Top 12: Mahomes Allen Burrow Stroud Herbert Jackson Lawrence Williams Daniels Richardson Goff Love (Older guys like Cousins, Rodgers and Stafford would not be in the top 12 because you're drafting for the future and for the present.) I don't think any QBs outside of this this list would be drafted ahead Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, Nick Bosa or Garrett, or even guys like Harrison and Malik Nabers. Quote
njbuff Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Caleb Williams in the top 10 when he has NEVER taken a meaningful NFL snap? Yep, makes perfect sense. 2 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) Top `10 is a lock to be all QB's Top 3 would for sure be: 1 - Mahomes 2 - Allen 3 - Stroud Then it gets more eye of the beholder after that but I think the next group of 4 would be a lock to be these guys 4 - Burrow 5 - Herbert 6 - Lamar 7 - Love Then the next 3 to round out the top 10 would likely be: 8 - Caleb 9 - Dak 10 - Goff/Tua/Trevor/Richardson Edited July 31 by Alphadawg7 1 Quote

No one is saying Williams is a top 10 QB right now, for 2024. The idea is that he'd be a top 10 pick if you are picking someone for the future of your franchise. Totally different evaluation. 1 2 Quote

But if it turns out that he sucks… YOU’RE FIRED. 🤣😂 Quote

unbillievable Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) I wouldn't Put CJ stroud that high. He had half a year of success. 3rd tier with other QB's that showed promising streaks. Might as well put Deshaun Watson in there, with Daniel Jones if that is your metric. 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Burrow 4. Jackson Herbert Tua Dak Goff Lawrence Love Stroud. julian Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Mahomes Allen Burrow Herbert Stroud Jackson Love Lawerence Caleb Prescott Quote
