Augie
Do NOT take your shoes off. There is no excuse for that. Oh, and if you want to recline your seat into my knees, my knees will let you know how they feel about that. 4 1

Fleezoid
Pretty much the entire process. However, here's a couple of standouts: Leg room Chatty neighbors People that refuse the check oversized carry-ons and spend10 minutes trying to jam them into the overhead bin, only to have a flight attendant politely offer the check bag.......likely for free. I don't travel as much as I used to partly due to the fact that it has become a day of hell.

SinceThe70s
The Southwest Airlines miracle flights. Half the passengers need wheelchairs when they board but are miraculously cured upon arrival and no longer need wheelchairs. 1

No, they ask me to remove my backpack from the overhead and stick it under my feet for the flight 😡
Teddy KGB
We’ve lost the hot flight attendants who are all these old dudes ? 1

Backpacks are not normally oversized. They do that to accommodate the larger bags. Why should I have to put my smaller bag under the seat when I really need that space for the legroom. dpberr
Irrational as it is, my biggest pet peeve (and fear) about commercial flight is the *super* young flight crews. I was on a Delta flight recently and both Captain and FO looked barely drinking age and it made me uneasy. The weirder thing was the flight attendants were both older women who could be their mothers. I think all airline pilots should look like 70s Efrem Zimbalist Jr. or Sally Ride. Irv
Can't stand the following: DB's not waiting their turn to de-plane. DB's who lean their seat back. DB's who don't sit in their assigned seat. DB's who put their bags over someone else's seat. DB's who can't seem to hit the toilet with anything. DB's who don't turn down the sound on their devices. DB's who rush the counter while boarding even though they are in group 6. DB's who walk right down the middle of the hallways in the airport. DB's who get a wheelchair and obviously don't need it. DB's who take up two stools at the bar when it is crowded.
