Ghost of BiB Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Getting called daddy in another language for all the wrong reasons would be sweet. 361386[/snapback] Don't need to go no further than that. How's Russian work for you?
BillnutinHouston Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Do people really care about store-bought gifts? Sounds kinda childish. When my kids hug me and tell me I'm the best Dad in the world and it's NOT father's day, that's the best gift I can get.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 I'd like to spend a QUIET day with the wife and kid.
rockpile Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Early morning my wife and I are going to church, just to start the day with some peace of mind; quiet prayers for our fathers and grandfathers who have died. With luck the roof won't collapse when this neo pagan enters. Brunch at my oldest daughter's home, SIL, and five grandchildren. Afternoon around the pool with some brews and relaxation. We are going to bring Grandpa over from the nursing home for the day. Two more of my kids should be there; I expect babyrock will check in from Brooklyn by phone. Any gifts on top of that are just icing on the cake.
