Got Quack all riled up!

Beautiful.

Sorry that you cant face the reality of the socialists/commies/marxists that you support.

Oh I work Quack, and I'm doing more than fine, much, much better than you are I'm certain.

No. Just asking a question. Hard to post and work as a bench scientist simultaneously.

as far as “price controls” here’s a very different assessment

https://www.politico.com/news/2024/08/14/harris-food-prices-economy-speech-00174112

Harris will also lean into her experience cracking down on corporate greed as California’s attorney general. She’ll more aggressively investigate and prosecute price-fixing through meat supply chains, and direct her administration to take new steps to crack down on unfair mergers that could inflate food prices, according to the campaign official. That follows dozens of cases in recent years alleging price-fixing by major meat companies and the FTC’s ongoing challenge of the largest proposed supermarket merger in U.S. history, between Kroger and Albertsons.

When do you work?  R u on disability. Welfare?  And you drone on about socialism and communism….

Good point.

I've suggested before that we have what's called a Zero Marginal Value employee here.

Perhaps zero marginal value human

If you feel that way about the unemployed then why do you promote all of the social programs for the less unfortunate?  I don't understand how you guys want all of these social programs and then devalue and make fun of the people that you supposedly support.

Sweeping statements of nonsense.

Cite a source, for “Dems” wanting to get rid of Harris. She has inspired hope and yes people have rallied around her. That’s how ***** political parties work in America, (see the felon)

then it’s an insult as if you are some wise man. Sigh.

you mean a lying rambling nearly incoherent presser like the felon gave? I’m sure she will and when she does answer questions of the press it’s ignored or mocked so what do you want? It’s never enough the bar always moves these are not good faith questions.

Here is a good example of the policy genius on the Republican side. It’s not ‘commie’ though, just ignorant.

Man you guys are scare of black men. Wow.

Yes.  I'm really scare of black men.  What an idiot.

There are those that truly cannot provide for themselves who require a safety net.  And we should provide it.  they shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them.  I'm neither a commie nor a marxist.  I was an R before they became a witless cult full of losers.

I would have given you a thumbs up or an agree if it wasn't for the bolded.  And I'm not even an "R".

1. Is it commie or socialist?  Very revealing question.

Revealing? Huh? I was guys to pick which one we are today. This was to mock how you guys are using these words. But yea good one “reveling”?

2. There is so much inflation, prices are too high why won’t Biden/harris do anything, people are really suffering.  So even if it is a move that will make things much worse "Let's do something" . . . . . brilliiant (any data to back up “make things much worse”) no didn’t think so. And worse for who. Capping prices makes things more affordable for consumers.  Or we could raise the corp tax rate and then redistribute those funds to subsidize consumers. Oh wait now I understand your obsession with tax cuts, it’s socialism for businesses.

3. Private business controls and raises their and also reports record profits.   The majority of businesses, especially small, are struggling to hang on. (Again a wild statement and no basis in data. So let’s look?

Yet paradoxically, the coming years are shaping up to be full of enormous opportunities for small and midsize businesses (SMBs)—those that employ fewer than 500 people.

While it might not seem obvious when visiting a shopping mall filled with multinational chain stores, SMBs remain a crucial part of the U.S. (and the world) economy. According to the World Bank, SMBs make up 90% of all businesses; in the U.S. that share is even higher, reaching 99%. SMBs also account for over 40% of U.S. economic activity while creating close to 2 million new jobs every year.”

The commie rag ‘Forbes’

5. Republicans vote against this, then continue to complain prices are too high, inflation, but free market, but too high. Brian starts to melt.   Brain ?  Again, it just never seems to occur to you that people can vote against a measure that history has shown will make things worse, not better.

Brain Brian typos happen. Never occurred (what?) no the pattern is republicans voting against anything that help Americans. Prove me wrong.

6. So she comes out against price gouging, which is consistent with her stated desire to hope the working and middle class. (And a pretty excepted accepted response to emergency situations)  Using the price gouging narrative to promote socialism, how original. Again most businesses are struggling and HAVE to charge more as THEIR costs rise, elementary school stuff

reading this out loud… prices are high on small businesses, so any plan to regulate price gouging by OTHER business are bad for small businesses? Bad for those employees as well and so they demand higher wages squeezing small business more.  Huh?

so again my question: inflation bad Biden/harris commie. Biden/Harris propose limits on price gouging makes them bad commies? Do I have that right?

Of course there should be a safety net for those who truly can't help themselves. Typical leftist deflecting.

Kamala has repeatedly spoke of equity, or forced equal outcomes. This is a basic tenet of Marxist theory.

You can't run away from that,  although they'll continue to try.

equal opportunities not outcomes....were you given opportunities or were you disadvantaged?  do you believe some Americans are disadvantaged?

Everyone wants "ideas."

Most "ideas" are bad ideas.

Look at what this election season has give us so far:

- huge tariff increases (Trump) - and now Harris

- no taxes on tips (Trump, now Harris)

- a "strategic" Bitcoin reserve (Trump) - and now Harris/dems/schumer supporting BTC

- some kind of price controls (Harris)

My takeaway: We need fewer "ideas," not more.

Looks like the Left is now supporting Trump's policies and they don't even realize it.

Why doesn't this make you happy?

Now we've got this "you stole my ideas, so you suck, but in a different way than you sucked before."

What I listed are all objectively bad ideas. Ask any economist other than Peter Navarro. I prefer Harris because she's not all-in on the dumbest ones like tariff increases. Which would be huge under Trump.

No, tariff increases are on the Left platform now, or at least in play.

The point is, the supporters of the Left have trashed and criticized all of these policies because they were brought up by Trump and now that Harris and the Left are supporting these policies (that they hated an hour ago) the supporters think it's great.  You don't see something off about that?  I'm not specifically talking about you, but it's a problem when people only follow and don't think for themselves.
