That's the money laundering operation that just pushed Harris over 1 billion dollars

And that's not counting the corporate, msm and duel charity support

Like a grand commercial production being marketed on every level.

LOL. Cope harder

What will they do once their savior loses and their coup attempt fails?  I'm betting MTG becomes the losers standard bearer.

Kamala Spends Day Two of the Democratic National Convention Going In Circles

Duane Patterson

As a Republican, I feel like after watching the last few speeches from Chicago's United Center Tuesday night, Donald Trump dodged another bullet. Imagine where the polls would be right now if the party elites tossed Kamala Harris aside along with Joe Biden and Michelle Obama were parachuted in as the party's 2024 nominee. All this alleged falling in love with Kamala Harris? If the idea of Michelle Obama as the nominee were remotely possible, the delegates would jump ship in a New York second and you'd really see what a lovefest looks like.

Fortunately for us, the Democrats still are saddled with Comrade Kamala and Tim Tse-Walz, who spent the evening in Wisconsin at a rally two hours up the road from the convention in Chicago, a curious move to say the least.

In March, the Biden-Harris Administration released its official Fiscal Year 2025 budget proposal which calls for the creation of an annual 25 percent minimum tax on the unrealized gains of individuals with income and assets that exceed $100 million

- It only affects people with high assets and income so they should have the ability to pay

- SCOTUS had a chance to shoot something like this down in Moore v US this year and they punted.

So, in other words, it will give pause to those who have lots of money from investing that money.

Boy, that sounds like a great thing for the economy. 👎

US taxes worldwide income. US investors take the money overseas and invest overseas, guess what. They’re still US citizens and taxed.

If this is your view, you have absolutely no idea, on a corporate or individual level.

Im a tax attorney with ex-pat clients. Trust me, the US taxes worldwide income of US citizens. There are somethings to avoid double taxation such as the foreign earned income exclusion and foreign tax credit, but they still tax world wide income.

Corporate tax is similar depending on a couple nuances. Like a foreign owned entity treated as a disregarded entity will get the foreign earned income taxed in the US. If the sub is a Corp, then you’ll have GILTI come in play.

But please do tell me why that’s wrong.

You know who else spent over $1B on their campaign?  Against Trump, no less...

Hillary of course.

but she wasn't the first 1-billion-dollar nominee. that was the dude that told us how bad trump is, last night at the convention.  So did biden.  Eff, 2020 saw at least 14.4 million spent. and thats not counting the duel charities/pacs like planned parenthood and Human rights campaign

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2021/02/2020-cycle-cost-14p4-billion-doubling-16/

Democratic candidates and groups spent $8.4 billion, compared to $5.3 billion for Republicans. Democrats' spending falls to $7 billion when excluding spending by billionaire presidential candidates Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer.
