Josh's perfect offensive game re-visited

When many are trying to tear Josh Allen down, remember this game that will go down in NFL history.  2022 playoff game Buffalo 47- Patriots 17

1.  The Bills scored TD's on seven straight possessions.

2.  The Bills never punted, turned the ball over, or faced a             4th down.

3.  Josh threw more TD passes (5) than incomplete passes (4)

4.  The Bills had 51 offensive plays and only two plays were           negative and those two were Josh's kneeldowns.

When the "experts" try to convince us that Josh doesn't play well in the playoffs, this is one example that totally contradicts that.  This game was the greatest offensive game ever played in NFL history since the beginning of the superbowl era.

I'm pretty sure there are.  Fowler just put out a piece talking about what some former executive said about Josh. So the conversation has been swirling on sports and social media

My favorite stat from this game is that Allen's passer rating decreased slightly after he threw the 1 yard TD pass to Tommy Doyle. It went from 158.3 to 157.6 because the lower YPA mattered more to the passer rating formula than the extra TD pass.

Which tells you all you need to know about the validity of that formula.

Besides the perfect game, the one play that stunned everyone in that game was Micah Hyde swooping in out of nowhere to ***** a INT on a sure TD pass that would have tied the game.   That INT was unbelievable as the closing speed was out of the world.   One of the most brilliant play in Bills history

Against the 2nd best defense in the league nonetheless. Buffalo had the 1st. That game destroyed the Patriots and they’ve never been the same since and also solidified the Bills takeover of the AFCE after 2 1/2 decades. Of course I want a SB win, but pretty cool to have 4 straight division titles. The way they finished last season on a win streak and beat the Dolphins in the finale to make it 4 in a row was awesome.

I’d post the highlights, but I’m pretty it classifies as porn for Bills fans

I rewatch it at least once a year. It’s the most satisfying game I’ve ever seen as a Bills fan.

Anyone who does isn't worth listening to...he has some of the best postseason stats in NFL history and without the Cincinnati game factored in would still be leading the Postseason NFL QB Rating list.

I never pay attention to any national media criticizing Josh Allen. It’s all for clicks. We would be better off ignoring it.

It wasn't the national media who criticized him - it was a NFL executive.

Probably one that routinely gets his ass beat by him...wouldn't surprise me if was Miami's GM.
