I think the only thing holding us together as a nation is football.  We can all agree on it and come together to cheer our team, without reference to political party

What about breasts?  We all like those.

That was a weird auto correct from the website!

See above.

If Trump gets elected, it's definitely going to be interesting to see where things go. I believe in being prepared for anything.

Why do you believe it will be interesting? Do you suspect those that identify as leftists will act out?

Feel free to read the conversation. I'm not circling around.

Haven't followed his political career but I was absolutely blown away by his book Hillbilly Elegy when it came out.

Happy to have him on the ticket.

Hillbilly Elegy is on Netflix if anyone hasn't seen the new VP's life story

They made a movie?  I had no clue.

Does the title mean he's lamenting the plight of the hillbilly? I'm curious and may give it a watch.

This is a good thing.

It should not be criticized for political reasons.

Is anyone criticizing it?

He is lamenting the plight of the hillbilly, but - at least in the book (I didn't watch the movie) - he makes it clear that a lot of the hillbillies bring it on themselves. It is pretty unsparing in its critique of a broken white rural/small town America.

Vance's wife clerked for Roberts and Kavanaugh?

Yep. Kavanaugh when he was on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, then as super-high achievers (often with strong political bona fide) do, for Chief Justice Roberts.
