LeviF Posted July 8 Posted July 8 33 minutes ago, Tommy Callahan said: Every democracy has the same problem: it inevitably rigs the system to favor left-wing results over time. Most “conservatives” fail to understand that, at best, right wing “politics” and electoral outcomes are just a slowdown of this inevitability. Germany didn’t vote itself out of Weimar, and the heritage people of Europe cannot vote themselves out of the current situation, as you can see above. Even in their most potent right wing electoral turnout in recent history the French people get that translated into gains for their enemies. 8 hours ago, Joe Ferguson forever said: Seems arbitrary and random. Why then? There’s a few reasons, but at that point Americans as a people had existed for over 200 years. Anyone who came after that came to a different sort of place. The societal and constitutional order had radically changed and explosions in immigration shortly thereafter from culturally dissimilar peoples started to create a clear divide between Americans and foreigners. 1 1

Good luck with all this tho: Rephrase this to the real story - quite a few people extremely happy about socialists taking power….in France. So that would leave how many "Americans"? "Pure" tho....Who is going to keep the country running? I won't miss Vivek and Melania tho. 1 1

But mass deportations starting with every illegal immigrant and moving up through student and work visas and other “temporary” immigrants should be priority 1 for any decently right wing candidate. 1

Removing people on work and student visas would obliterate the economy. It’s sad that your racism blinds you. 1 1

The student visa one is the first time I've heard of them being included in the "line go up" myth whilst the work visas keeping America afloat has been so thoroughly disproven it's not even worth commenting on. Immigrants drive down wages. That's their contribution to the economy.
Big Blitz Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Reminder - there are NO moderate Democrats/Liberals. This election in France confirms it. Macron got 200 plus candidates off the ballots to not split the vote - in a few weeks. Undermining the entire process in France just to vote against another party almost 40 percent of France voted for. So, also clearly, those who threw their principles to the gutter and colluded with non-blending ideologies for the sole purpose of thwarting the Right, have definite desires for: Open borders No deportation of illegals Support for globalist agendas Multiculturalism despite failed integration Muslims praying on public spaces to show dominance Trashing French cities every time the Left are annoyed Support for the war-mongering politicians Rubbish-filled and crime-ridden streets Those who voted for the purpose of thwarting the Right will get what they deserve. Those who voted for the Right would have to think of new strategies to save their country. 3

There might be a minute impact (2% or so) effect on wages in low-skill jobs, where there’s a lot of competition, but there’s little effect on high-end skilled jobs. https://www.cato.org/cato-journal/fall-2017/does-immigration-reduce-wages#:~:text=Literature on the U.S. labor,by 2 percent%2C on average. 1 1

Tommy Callahan Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Gonna be interesting. The banker corporate macron with open communist. Someone once said there are great things that happen when one merges state and corporate power.
