France: Marine Le Pen dominates first round of elections

Recommended Posts

President Macron and his party joined with leftist parties (including socialists and Communists) to frustrate the so called “far right.” Whichever of those groups had finished third in a given district withdrew, so they could consolidate their forces against the Rally.

The result is that the far left is now in the driver’s seat. Exit polling indicates that a coalition of left-wing parties will win somewhere between 172 and 192 seats in the Assembly, Macron’s party 150 to 170, and the National Rally 132 to 152.

So the establishment united to block what it considers to be the ultimate horror–a sensible immigration policy.

It is revealing, I think, that the French establishment was happy to unite with Communists rather than allow the “far right” to gain power.

They certainly don’t want any extremists in the government!

Even in foreign elections, they can't stop crying about "rigged" results.

Who said it was rigged?

The voters are legally voting, but the racial/religious makeup of these countries are now far different than in past decades.

At some point, you are what you are.  This is what countries like the UK and France are now.

Other countries, like Poland, Hungary, many Slavic countries and Portugal have had far less immigration, and its evident in their politics.

This is accurate.

And tbh, I have nothing against Islam. It seems to be the one religion where the majority of its followers are truly devoted to their faith.  It’s impressive in the modern day.

That being said.. its not, at all, compatible with Western society.

This isn’t going to end well for France/UK/Ireland … what happens when native born realize they can’t vote their way to change any longer?

What happens when Islamic law starts taking hold over larger and larger swaths of Western secular society?

This is a huge difference between Europe and America, where the majority of the migration we have is Catholic Hispanics, who come here as Judeo-Christian and become swing voters in elections.

Then you should try and court these people and bring them to your side.

I can't imagine why immigrants wouldn't vote for people whose entire life is "WE'RE GONNA DEPORT YOU"

Only buys time. Do you think Islam is ok with what the left is doing?  Hell no.  But they are a means to an end with globalist/open borders views in Europe where France and the UK have been flooded with Muslims from Africa and the Middle East.

Islam is a rigid religion.  They aren’t importing liberal Muslims .. that’s not a thing.

This just proves that there are two movements in politics. There’s the far right, and the not far right which consists of a loose coalition of people who hate their country. The most dyed in the wool Stalinist and the muh free market lolbertarian can come together as soon as a decent sized minority objects a little too much about immigration.

Muslims constitute 4% of the French population.  Doesn't seem an existential threat.  now 35% far right MAGAs is adifferent story...

So anyone not on the far right hates their country.  Right, the large majority of Americans then.  No wonder you fools want to end democracy.

Most anyone not on the far right has no real grasp of what America is.

Is American an ethnicity?

Nope, there are very few females that meet qualifications for the Daughters of the American Revolution, for example.  Meanwhile, there are many first, second and third generation citizens on the far right.  How many generations qualify one as American?

Any paper citizen can be deported with the stroke of a pen. My ancestors’ blood will always be in this soil.
