My favorite movie he was in was My Bodyguard as Cliff's dad.

 

Also, had a memorable role in Mr. Mom.

 

I associate more with early 80's movies but it seems he did a lot of other stuff too.

Show was ahead of its time in that it was done in the mockumentary style.

I remember they had a show with the first electric car. guy couldn't get it started and said "one of the batteries must be bad' opened up the hood and it was packed with D cells LOL

The show was pioneering with their humor. I checked YouTube, quite a few shows. The titles of the epsisodes alone show how far ahead they were in making fun of issues.

 

The list of actors who appeared on the show before they made it in the business is lengthier than I'd remembered.
