Politicians math

Recommended Posts

I would want this thread to be bipartisan- make fun of all politicians who do "special" math.

Not only was he community noted but they missed his truly special math of saying it saved  $600k. The program cost 9.5 million, so it was mildly effective and cost about 8.8 million.

A good number of homeless people like being homeless. They want to be able to come and go as they please and they don't want to pay bills. Most are into the drug scene or have mental illness and want to live outside of societal norms. These people don't want to be "housed." It's a lifestyle they have become accustomed to and they choose it. Will they take your $1000 a month? Gladly. It's not going to change their situation for the better though if they don't want to change it

To add to your post then there are those that are sick & tired of having to pay increased taxes on every thing they do and are made to buy health ins, SS, and what ever other mandated gov't things they may not agree with and this is their way of saying FU to all of it !!

My favorite "politician's math"  is when they refer to a proposal of lowering an increase in spending as a "CUT"

Even when the budget is the same or even slightly higher, it is then described as being "Slashed"

Ridiculous.
