Then McD's bend and break defense comes to the rescue again and gives up the Game winning TD to Diggs. No one will remember Josh's 400 yard 4 TD game. Espn Sportcenter will broadcast endlessly the Diggs "Winning TD" and the Diggs interview after the game. So in a sense, Diggs could have the better game. When I looked it up, it said he was good for 8 tuddies last year. So it could happen the way you described but if hes still good for 8 I am not sure how worried I would be that one of those would be the game winner against his former team. Although I do believe your scenerio is the only way I think Diggs shows up on my radar at all. 1 Quote

Rampant Buffalo Posted June 19 Posted June 19 There is a key piece of information in the thread title. Week 5. You expect Diggs to play big that early in the season. If the thread title had said "week 15" or "playoff game," then no, I wouldn't expect much from Diggs. Quote
Playoffs? Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Allen will definitely have more passing yards than Diggs. Diggs will likely have more receiving yards. 4 Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Well this is the week. It’s rare that 100% of this board agrees on something, we’ll see if we are all right that Josh has the better game 😃 Quote

Personally I think Diggs after all the hype leading into the game, will be used as a decoy on the field a lot, for the reasons OP gave—counting on the Bills to key on him while their other plethora of weapons are targeted instead. Regardless, Josh goes off and makes this a statement W. Maybe even a hurdle thrown in for old times’ sake! 🤫 1 Quote

If Diggs has 120 yard & 2 TDs, does he have a better game than Josh with 400 all-purpose yards & 4 total TDs? Not better but those would be equivalent great games for their respective positions Quote
Blackbeard Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Best scenario is this: We win. Our defense stifles DIggs. Diggs goes bonkers on Stroud on the sidelines. 2 Quote

Agreed, a game like that poster described for each would be one you say they both had good games as individuals. But based on the fact Diggs is avg 9.3 ypc, a game like that feels less likely right now. Especially with Nico leading the NFL in receiving. Anything can happen Sunday, but I think it’s certainly in Allen’s favor right now especially coming off a game where they are looking to bounce back. What I’m more interested to see now since I first posted this months ago is who has the better game between Coleman and Diggs because I think this might be Coleman’s first breakout game coming off his mini breakout last week. I think Brady is going to don’t things this week…focus on getting back to effectively running the ball to open the pass game and look to get Coleman involved more and earlier to also open up the rest of the field. Personally I think Coleman could, or at least should, see a min of 7+ targets this week. Edited October 2 by Alphadawg7 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I mean how else was this poll going to go on a Bills board? 😆 I think they both have big games and Diggs the player (not the attitude) is a big loss for us (we have a bunch of 3s and 4s who would be so much better in different roles). But instead of making it a contest better a qb and a wr, this is a monster game. We beat teams with a combined 2-10 record and got stomped by the Ravens. To win in Houston, with all the hype, would be a monster statement win. On 6/18/2024 at 9:30 PM, Playoffs? said: Allen will definitely have more passing yards than Diggs. Mr. WEO Posted October 2 Posted October 2 https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41549792/stefon-diggs-buffalo-bills-divorce-houston-texans-josh-allen this is why Diggs had to go. "Tremendous player," a team source said. "But the offense didn't need him anymore." Quote
nedboy7 Posted October 2 Posted October 2 What I would love to see is Keon have a bigger game than Diggs. That would make my day. I'm sure everyone's day. Quote

He's no longer a centerpiece. As far as who wins the game, let me see an injury report and I'll have a better idea. Still don't really know how our defense is going to look with the new DC and new players. As of now, I'd probably be inclined to take the Bills but a key injury or 2 would likely change that pick And the pick is being switched. Due to the bolded with some key players of ours either hurt, hobbled or suspended and the Texans getting Mixon back along with Tank Sell, advantage Cows. Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Allen should have the bigger game because Dell and Collins are going to dominate target share … if Mixon plays, Texans win. If not? It’s a toss up Quote
