JaCrispy Posted June 15 Posted June 15 (edited) I would be fine with any of these 4…👍 Who do you like? Edited June 15 by JaCrispy
L Ron Burgundy Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Tulsi would be the smartest pick. The rest are just your average sycophants. 1

Tiberius Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Why not Mike Pence? 🤣 What are they going to say? Did Trump win in 2020? They have to say they are running in a rigged election they can't win, but they are going to anyhow? Whoever it is, it is a 100% certainty that Trump will eventually throw them under the bus and trash them publicly. Why would anyone want the job?

He is not anything near intelligent.

L Ron Burgundy Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Just now, Tiberius said: But if you lose the Devil gets your soul.... Curious if any will have the integrity to say they'll do it but won't cause chaos if they lose.
LeviF Posted June 15 Posted June 15 The only options are those who provide insurance against an almost inevitable assassination. If tulsi is his VP and by some miracle Trump wins she’ll recite the oath of office by July 2025.
Doc Posted June 15 Posted June 15 It's got to be someone who has a chance to win in 2028. Basically someone unlike Harris. 8 minutes ago, LeviF said: The only options are those who provide insurance against an almost inevitable assassination. If Obama wasn't offed by the tens of millions of racists in America during his 8 years...

Somebody has made that argument in earnest before so I’ll say it for their benefit): Obama enjoyed GAE regime protection. Trump does not.
Pokebball Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Youngkin would probably bring Virginia which is a virtual tie at this point. Those you mentioned would not bring with them a state
Scraps Posted June 15 Posted June 15 None of the above. Carson will neutralize the "Sleepy Joe" moniker since his eyes are constantly closed even when he is awake. Ramasmarmy pisses off to many people. Gabbard, Ramasmarmy and Donalds all get to much attention and like a lizard soaking up sun, Trump must get all the attention. It will be Stefanik. Having a ***** on the ticket will help neutralize the abortion issue and do more to bring in suburban women voters. She steals no sunlight from Trump (kind of like Pence in 2016).
ChiGoose Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Feels like there should be a thread for Burgum since he’s currently the betting favorite…
The Frankish Reich Posted June 15 Posted June 15 I sure hope it's not any of those 4. Awful choices, like Kamala awful. Burgum? Whatever. Old school Republican. May be able to keep Trump a little bit more stable than otherwise.

ChiGoose Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Honest question: what do people think Trump is looking for in a VP? Pence made sense for someone with as many moral challenges as Trump had back in 2016: get Mr. Religion on board to pacify the evangelical base. But Trump’s popularity ratings have essentially been the same for the last six years (they dipped at the end of his term but I think they’re back to about the same spot they always are). Few things seem to hurt him, few things seem capable of improving much over ~45%. Since it’s unlikely that the choice impacts his electoral fortunes much, what is it that he’s looking for?
