I'm more worried about his lack of physical play and the countless opposing forwards who skated right around him as he tripped over the blue line. 361799[/snapback] It is one measurement...... 7 shots in 25 games? Not that he was going to make the NHL, but wow..... 362047[/snapback] Not that it means much, but the numbers I see say 8 shots in 28 games (probably includes playoffs, but I don't even remember him playing in the playoffs). Anyway, I still don't see why shots really matters for a defensemen. If we're talking about a guy who could be a future point man on the powerplay, ok, but that's not what he is. If you want a good evaluation of his play, I think you have to look no further than the fact that he was benched for most of the last quarter of the season for a guy who hadn't played a single game up to that point.
