Freak-O Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Going 5 out of 6 with the miss being 58 yards is not a problem. He was bad last year but this particular practice isn’t an indication that he’s still in a slump. 3 5 2 Quote
peterpan Posted August 3 Posted August 3 (edited) Wasn’t there a usfl kicker kicking 60 yarders every week? Where the F did he go? PS how’s the punt god doing in KC Edited August 3 by peterpan Quote
aristocrat Posted August 3 Posted August 3 It’s the second most important position in football. Better get it fixed 1 1 Quote

The media will have the narrative all teed up by the time we play the Chiefs: We passed on Mahomes, Humphrey, and Legette, got jumped for McDuffie, didn't know enough to keep the Punt God, and had to be content to sign their castoff, MVS. Hopefully, that narrative will be dampened by a good year from Coleman and MVS, and a disappointing year from skinny Legette. 3 1 1 Quote

JakeFrommStateFarm Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Was there a good rush on the missed 58 harder and was Bass barely able to get the kick off ? Quote

It wasn’t in the same zip code of the goal posts. My concern isn’t so much that he can’t make the 20 and 30 yarders. My concern is that he doesn’t have nerves of steel to hit the game winners. 1 Quote

TheyCallMeAndy Posted August 3 Posted August 3 For what it’s worth: Joe Marino says Tyler Bass is 17-19 on FGs for TC so far, misses from 51 and 58. 1 Quote
Eastport bills Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Why are they forcing this guy on a team that needs every facet of the attack to be dominant in order to go deep. He shows inconsistency and low confidence the last 2 seasons. Now again missing makeable chip shots in camp. We argue about viability of safeties, receivers and lbs while this guy has no competition and continues to suck. If Beane and Sean don’t address this they’ll have blood on their hands. 1 1 Quote

Don Otreply Posted August 3 Posted August 3 With all respect, he is not “struggling” , last practice he was six of seven, and has next to identical results for the previous camp practices, this is a “Jump the shark“ head line, much ado about nothing, lots of folk need to get their Lexapro script refilled, 😁👍 3 Quote
