Shakir sustained an apparent lower-body injury during the play and hobbled a bit as he exited the field of play. Trainers tended to the diminutive WR before he left the practice field entirely and did not return. The third-year pro finished a solid 2023 campaign with 39 receptions for 611 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns, setting himself up for a breakout season in 2024. The significance of the injury remains unclear, but with so much changeover at the position, Shakir’s presence is critical for a team going through such a significant transition. Who Dat Brasky calling "diminutive"? I mean he's not 6'4", but he's 6'0", same height as Diggs was. If Shakir is "diminutive", what do you call Andy Isabella or KJ Hamler? https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-minicamp-khalil-shakir-lengthy-injury-list-rv3 Quote

Blainorama5 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 He's short relative to the rest of the WR room. Quote

With Coleman, Kincaid, and Knox and big ol' Allen throwing to them do we need more size? All those haters out there piling onto the tiny 6 ft. guy 😁 Maybe he just looked small around those dudes. LABILLBACKER Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 All I care about is no ACL....no limping, obviously the injury was minor. 4 Quote
ScotSHO Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 I suspect either 1) Grammarly suggested it to Braski, or 2) the AI that wrote the article wanted to flex on the inferior human scum that read SI. It's the only way AI can get the anger out, at least until the war against the machines starts. 1 3 Quote
