European Elections 2024 - BLOODBATH

Not surprising. Centrism always wins. Populism bounces between left and right wings every so often, it’s nothing new.

Uninspiring Centrism leads to dissatisfaction which leads to the rise of right wing parties.

Winning the election is one thing, they’ve got to actually *do* something to keep voters from flirting with authoritarian right wing parties.

IMO, right wing populism is more appealing than left wing populism because it’s easy to understand - “I don’t like you, so I will put this person in power that will stomp you out” whereas left wing populism requires you to read 97 different texts from people who died 200 years ago to have the slightest understanding of their goals.

Not entirely thrilled about the amount of votes that nazi Czech Republic guy guy though!

Oh definitely. It’s easier to just find an unpopular group, and scapegoat them as the “other” who is the cause of everyone’s problems.

Of course, governing is a whole other beast.

Fairly telling that the UK, which just experienced conservative governments looks to be turning to the left.

Right wing populism’s main tenets right now are anti-immigration sentiment and freedom of speech.

The left pushed so far on both of these issues that you now have a majority of Americans (and seems a similar sentiment in Europe) in favor of straight up mass deportations.

It turns out open-minded people have their limits.. and when people pouring into their country have no desire to assimilate, they realize that their country is no longer a melting pot.. it’s simply becoming a welfare state for people who want to import their culture to supersede theirs.

Yep! Labour is almost guaranteed to take over. The Socialist party appears to have won a healthy majority in Denmark, too. Meanwhile, Sinn Fein is getting stomped in Ireland.

France did an atrocious job with assimilating immigrants. European countries don’t have the institutions like we do to assimilate them. I will fully agree to that.

The news is saying "the far right" won the European elections. If this is far right now then yeah you can call me far right.

• End illegal immigration
• Throw criminals in jail
• Support free speech
• Don’t sexualize kids
• Prioritize safety
• Support peace
• Be patriotic
• Be strong
• Celebrate family and having kids
• Preserve National culture/identity
• Put your country first
• Ban sex changes for kids
• Oppose ESG + DEI
• Be Anti-communist
• Promote Sovereignty
• Cut regulations
• Build, build, build
• Always innovate
• Celebrate greatness
• Be meritocratic
• Support energy independence
• Deport illegal aliens
• End wokeness in schools + military
• Support the right to self defense

What they call far right was sanity 15 years ago.

Let’s keep it that way!

That dumbass meme chigoose posted conveniently leaves off the fact that every flag on that thing represents a country absolutely dominated by leftist social policies for the last 70 years. To the point where Britain and France in particular are unrecognizable as “British” or “French” in their major population centers.

This should about do it for Ukraine too since the right loves Russia so much, for some reason. A shame.

The subliminal attacks of white Europeans has been beyond next level.

Majority white countries like Poland inundated with government propaganda campaigns where every white woman is with a foreign born man.

At some point you need to step up for your culture.  And id expect African countries to do the same if the situation was reversed.   Colombian men pushing back on passport bro tourism pushed by their government.

Good.
