Especially in a presidential election where both candidates have strong name recognition.

I don't see any Trump signs here in the Boston area (no surprise) ... but when we head home to see family in Buffalo and Rochester - the same MAGA nutters never took down their MAGA 2016 and 2020 crap.  

 

I particularly love the signs that literally say "F*CK JOE BIDEN" - you know, coming from the party that cares about kids.

In reality, yard signs are a waste because in most elections, the candidates are fairly well known. You can make an argument they might help a bit in local elections where voters don’t know who the down ballot candidates are but they’re basically worthless in Presidential elections.
