I've been doing genealogy for over 30 years now and I have never thought about posting here until now, but here goes. If anyone is curious about where their family comes from, let me know in a PM. I have done much work with UK, Irish, Scandinavian, French, German, Italian and Canadian records and have uncovered some really interesting stories for some I have helped. My genealogy is approximately 40% French Canadian, 40% UK/Irish/German and 20% Scandinavian. DNA has already solved two major family mysteries which could not have been resolved through records.

The Feds always have some dead giveaways.  This guy supposedly:

A. Finds out he is more Canadian than any other nationality AND

B. Still has a will to live?

Yeah way to specific for trained eyes.

I saw Enemy of the State, I'm not letting this "Canadian" ruin my life!  I do a good enough job of that on my own!

Some lady at the truck stop wanted my DNA, too. I don't think she was in the CIA.

That's for consumption. That is okay.  If there are no teeth involved it's better and typically discounted rates. I approve

I recommend familysearch dot org because it is free (vs. ancestry dot com which charges).  It is run by Church of LDS, who have archived a lot of the old church records.  Once I entered a number of my relatives/ancestors, my tree merged with work that others had done which opened up a lot of new information.  Only information about deceased relatives is made public.

Our offspring will have my wife’s side of the gene pool to appreciate, and hope the blue stuff floating in the kiddie end doesn’t spread too far.

Let's be honest, if you are adding new men to the house, would she really want ANOTHER Draconator?
