78thealltimegreat Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Maybe the greatest olineman to ever play the game. 2 6 2 1 Quote
Chicken Boo Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) He's top 3 for sure. Definitely the best guard of all time. Scary strength. Godspeed to him and condolences to his friends and family. Edited June 3, 2024 by Chicken Boo 1 Quote
Toomstone.Part.Duex Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 52! Wonder what happened? Too young. Prayers for his family. RIP Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Biscuit looked like he was eating biscuits! 😆 RIP Mr. Allen. Quote
K-9 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 One of the best ever. And he owns perhaps the best sheer hustle play I’ve seen by any player, let alone a player of that size. 1 3 Quote

CowgirlsFan Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 RIP 🙏 😭 Gut wrenching just gut wrenching! Way too young. Thank you for your contribution to the game of football and the memories 🏈 Quote
billsfan89 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Way too young to go. He was like a forcefield pushing back and defender 3-7 yards down the line of scrimmage. He was a 2nd team All-Pro in 1995 and then proceeded to be first team All-Pro from 1996-2001 he made the Pro-Bowl in all of those season and then made the Pro-Bowl again later in his career from 2003-2006 and again as an alternate in 2007 his last year (and this was when the Pro-Bowl still meant a lot as far as a reflection of where players were at). He won a Super Bowl in 1995 and was an all decade team member in the 1990's and 2000's. Easily one of the most dominant guards ever gone too soon. 1 Quote
Your Brown Eye Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) Unreal athlete. Gone way to soon. Edited June 3, 2024 by Your Brown Eye Quote
billsbackto81 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 To me at least there's no maybe about it. He's the greatest I've seen in my lifetime. 🙏 Quote
Doc Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 I want to say he was the first 300#+ OL to run a sub-5.0. Quote
Bongo Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 There are crazy, ridiculous athletes in this game with RAS scores off the charts. And then there’s Larry Allen who was on a whole different planet where they didn’t even allow charts. Unbelievable. He made NFL players look average. Quote
msw2112 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 The guy was one of the greatest OL I've ever seen play. He was the real deal. May he rest in peace. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Wow this sucks. To me he was the greatest OG to ever play. Quote
