The Bills could come to a compromise agreement with Cook to pay him a decent amount without breaking the bank. It takes BOTH sides to negotiate something that works for everyone. 1 1 Quote

colin Posted January 13 Posted January 13 well, if he shows an ability to score 16 more tds next season, including say 5 or 6 long ones (like he did this year) then even the people on the fence here will have to agree that he's worth the money. you just can't let that kind of production go. diggs was traded, with a massive negative cap and hard dollar cost (worse extension than the von miller contract, that's crazy). headlines were his attitude, but the reality is his production fell off hard hard. cooks by all accounts is a locker room plus. if he continues to ball out and we win more playoff games, i think it's a done deal Quote

Well, he was 4th in the NFL in yards last year, had more yards, 4.7 yards per carry last year, more catches than this year... so yeah I think so. He was 5th in yards after contact, first in catch rate, etc etc etc. He was VERY good last year. He certainly has more TDs now but thats because Allens rushing TDs are down and we are running the ball at the goal line. I'm not really sure what else he could have showed last year to make you think he was very good. Quote

Fan in Chicago Posted January 13 Posted January 13 After a long time, I feel we should give a RB a second contract. Given the life of a RB, I wouldn't make it more than a 3 year addition. His price should be reasonable as contracts for those not named Henry and Barkley are not huge. Quote
